In the desert - March '07 - California

This was the first roll I put into my Rioch 500G, after replacing the light seals. Rather annoyingly I left the flap on the changing bag open when I loaded the tank, so I think I have fogged these a little - not great on a light-seal test roll.

The Jessops film is (I think) and efke emulsion.

We didn't go through the gate, but I think it's just a long alleyway leading to another gate, with houses on either side.

Our party was the first to walk this route today so we found the snow undisturbed. This gate acted as a perfect mould for the snow-laden north-westerly winds the previous night.
