Alex Oprunenco, policy specialist with UNDP in Moldova, turned a simple walk into an incredible imaginary adventure to convince his son to spend some time in nature. It worked quite well!
From this story he identified four key lessons for development practitioners working on civic engagement.

While gamification intrigues marketers and content providers alike, it’s generated a backlash among many game developers who feel that these efforts are misguided.
Led by Wade Tinney, who heads the New York chapter of the International Game Developers Association, this thought-provoking debate analyzed the role of gaming in business applications through case studies, expert opinions, and audience participation. The panel was held at the NYU-Poly campus, with a reception following in the Game Innovation Lab. Approximately 80 guests attended the debate.

With the controller he can alter various parameters (dynamics, speed) of a digitized piano roll (recorded by musicians or composers of the late 19th at the beginning of the 20th century) in order to get a feeling for the historical interpretation of piano works in the late 19th century.
