I really dig this one. Of course, I was addicted to Tetris and it's many incarnations for years and years.
la vida nos trae muchas cosas las cuales comenzamos con un impulso ,ganamos ,vamos aqui vamos alla ,tenemos atajos o nuevo caminos , pero tenemos tropiezos igual nunca queremos dejarnos caer y quedar en la derrota.
para volver a empezar, lo mejor es IMPULSARNOS de nuevo y ganas muchos mas puntos con la vida asi sean pocos pero se que los puntos que tengo ahorita me han ayudado a crecer como persona ,no he caido ...
aun sigo jugando y ganando mas puntos en este juego ,no son dos bolas es solo una y primero esta mi juego con la vida
no tendre un GAME OVER si lo tengo que venga un nuevo impulso pero se que mi record llegara mas alla ...

The Super Mario Theme Party of Prozac09 was a full success. At the end we had planned the notorious endgame confetti cannon from the Mario games. (those cannons proved to be really dangerous actually...)

Frankey Street Art is giving the city of Amsterdam little often unremarkable surprises. Every week a photo with one of his recent works appears in the supplement to the newspaper Het Parool. A great opportunity to take a closer look at his work. Sometimes you have to search to find it and sometimes it is already gone.
Frankey also participated in KAAPSTAD TILBURG, an art festival in Tilburg for which he made this year 7 art objects.
I was lucky to find all seven!

Street Art Frankey
Street Art Frankey (pseudonym of Frank de Ruwe) is a Dutch artist who wants to positively influence the street scene with relatively small and often inconspicuous works of art.
He grew up in Nijmegen, father was an inventor at Philips Netherlands. He studied at Delft University of Technology (Industrial design). In daily life director of and working for design collective Natwerk. In Amsterdam, many of his works in the street art category can be found on buildings, streets and bridges, often in addition to existing building elements. He himself about his work;
"I want to push boundaries. Art has no boundaries, that's why I like it so much."
In 2019, a special page has been dedicated to his art in Het Parool for a number of years; first he took care of that section himself, later he had to leave that work to others because of busy work. A little later his work Eberhard van der Laan appeared above the entrance of Paradiso.
One of the works that inspired him is the Boomzagertje in the Leidsebosje, a work by an as yet unknown artist.

The Val Marie Group of 4 have completed their fourth assignment (I hope) and will be uploading their take on the "word of the week". Pam chose the word this week, and the word is "el duende". Pam, how can we ever thank you?
"El duende" is a Spanish term for which there evidently is no English equivalent. Oh, great. In my benighted state of existence, I'd never heard of it. I read several definitions and emerged no wiser. The clues I was able to cobble together suggest that it is a quality of being, or perhaps of art, or artistic expression, best exemplified in flamenco music. It contains elements of sorrow as well as authenticity. Although he is not a flamenco musician, Bob Dylan has it. Van Morrison has it. Neil Young and Tom Waits can summon it up. I'm not certain, but would be willing to bet that Wayne Newton doesn't have it, nor does Celine Dion. Randy Travis? You gotta be kidding. I've no idea if I have it. However, I am almost certain that Mr. Pumpkinhead does; you can see it in his time ravaged smile.
This is my Halloween pumpkin, sitting out in my backyard, vegetable cell walls long since exploded and frozen, awaiting - patiently - a warm chinook wind and midwinter thaw that will turn him into a puddle of ooze. He is one soulful dude. Yes, I think he has the right stuff. El duende!

Dear Friends & Family, Contacts and Visitors,
Recently I received information that Flickr is changing policy: as of May 1st all MODERATE and RESTRICTED content on FREE accounts will be in violation of their TOS.
For several years this question: was circulating in my head: should I leave or stay on Flickr? Now the answer is clear. I am not going PRO, so I have to remove all Moderate and Restricted content. I guess the same will happen with many other users. This will lead also to diminishing and death of the groups I worked on for so many years.
Well, this is Flickr END - dead end.
Game over!

As a rule, your Tetris game usually ends on the L-block. The L-block can be really deadly, even when the speed level of the game is not that high. After a little flurry, it becomes obvious that you simply cannot place the block properly. As a result of this inability, the L-block eventually towers awkwardly above the whole structure. Then, just as you begin to moan about the ugliness of the structure, the O-block falls right on the tip of the L; and right after that comes the eagerly awaited I-block. But, by now, the I-block is too little too late, as one hears the shrill sound that accompanies the traditional GAME OVER message.
