It took a little while to gain the confidence of this ewe with her daughters, but eventually I managed to pique their interest and got this close up shot of the three of them together

This young eagle upstart was brave enough to try nabbing a few bites of, if my memory serves me right, a bison carcass mostly submerged in the ice. There's that whole idea of experience keeping us from bad decisions yet only being gained by questionable decisions… Well, this eagle was about to learn one of those life lessons. The ravens kept pecking at its heels every time it tried to get into the tasty meat. After five or six tries in the windy conditions, the eagle ended up giving up and leaving the ravens to their prize.

So it's not like I didn't know that Diet Coke was horrible for you but I still continued to drink it. Around 6-8 a day for about 10 years. That's A LOT of Diet Coke.

I recently decided to try and cut back. I though that getting down to 1 or 2 a day would be perfectly fine and then my boyfriend told me all of this really disturbing stuff about it that I never knew. I mean I knew it was bad but I had no idea it was THAT bad. So no more!

Goodbye old friend, though you are horrible for me, I will sadly still miss you!

Oh and apparently it actually makes you GAIN weight, so keep that in mind for those who drink it for the zero calories.

My Dell laptop died last week, it had a good run of 6 years. I got my macbook pro today & I'M NOT LOOKING BACK!

William Land Park in East Sacramento has one pond that has been almost completely overtaken by water lilies. During an overcast day, I grabbed my telephoto for some compositions of the flowers in diffuse light. While I had to overcome some breezy conditions by using a higher ISO, the bees did not seem to mind the wind and were happily pollinating these interesting looking plants.

Watch the Storm Chasing Video from that day's Chase on Flickr Click Here

No tornadoes on this day's chase, but some incredible supercell structure out on the plains of Nebraska.

We started the day with a supercell that had several meso structures being reported from radar. This storm was tracking slowly about 12 knots cresting from the northwest to southeast. Classic June storm structure for this time of year in Nebraska. Northwest of North Platte Nebraska it had reported wall cloud and we definitely wanted a piece of this action.

We arrived as it was gaining strength as it has pushed through Maxwell Nebraska. We stopped in Brady, just to the southeast via I-80 corridor to get the bugs off of the windshield and as the storm was gaining strength. We had stopped just a few miles to the south of Brady we set up shop to catch this storm. Nice clear beautiful structure accompanied the underbelly of this supercell. Though we had a clear cut defined wall cloud this storm never did show us her tornadic teeth.

After about an hour on this storm in the same position (rare for us to do this) we eventually had to back off and get back to the east. We had to get south of Gothenburg just a few miles off the I-80 exit area for the next structured shot of this supercell. Oh we got just what we were looking for! Phenomenal base rotation!

Eventually we had backed off again as the hail core was approaching. Plus this cell was loosing its steam. We moved back to the I-80 corridor then south of Cozad Nebraska and this cell was in redevelopment mode and we had some waiting to do. Though not a long wait as this original cell fizzled out but we had one more chance for good structure south of Overten Nebraska. We headed to Loomis Nebraska for another treat to end the day. Oh did I say treat? We got a whole bunch more eye candy than expected.

Just to the east of Loomis Nebraska we encountered some incredible supercell structure. This storm wasn't going to be shy, and she eventually showed us some teeth.

Personal Note: For some odd reason I didn't clear my memory card on my last chase, and I ran out of room on my SD Card. I had to stop shooting after the wall cloud was right over my location my Loomis Nebraska. I didn't have time to pull out my spare card and load it due to the strength and this fast moving cell. This storm cell became outflow dominate and man do I mean dominate. We got caught in the outflow boundary several times with tons of gustnadoes and almost haboobish. I did have my trusty camera with me... I was in the drivers seat so when we had a chance, I did capture some incredible pics that blew me away literally.

All in all. I'm not always about catching the tornado. I had some good friends and fellow storm chasers along side that day. In my opinion... just another EPIC chase day in Nebraska!!! Woot Woot. More to come!

Hey everyone, I've been walking around the En'Kara 2025 fair for a week now and taking photos of everything I see (over 200 already)!

I'm not going to tell you all about how cool the place is and what's there. It's better to see it once for yourself!

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour like these ornamental pear trees, which are quickly gaining the rich gold, orange and red tones of the season.

Melbourne has experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only are there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours are starting to appear.

This mountain is a wonderful place - it's a good workout, very close to Calgary, always something different to see. Given all the miles on our car that we logged doing the 65 summit project in 2021, we've been trying to stay closer to home, and thought 'Wouldn't it be interesting to summit Prairie Mountain once each month.' So far we've been successful, but on this trip we noticed markings suggesting there would be trail construction, and someone said they will likely close this trail at the end of May. :( There is an alternate route to the summit, and we don't know if that will be closed too, we'll have to wait for our June outing. Commonly, the winds on Prairie Mountain often are blowing a gale, but today we had fine weather and the air was calm.

To extend the challenge, we extended our walk, descending a bit from the summit northwards and returning, then descending southwards almost 300 m's in elevation and returning to the top, so that our total accumulated elevation gain was 1073 m's after we finally completed. We did walk 11.4 km's return distance, and took 4.3 hours to do all this.

“Autumn is the sweetest season, and what we lose in flowers we more than gain in fruits.” Samuel Butler.

My daughter got married on the weekend in a very small covid-restricted wedding. Although it would have been nice to have a few more family members present, there is a lot to be said for a small intimate ceremony.

Amazingly, this is the 1000th picture that I have posted here on my Flickr photo-stream!

To mark this historic occasion, I thought it would be appropriate to show myself doing what I do for every photo-shoot – getting myself made-up, so I can look my best!

I don’t know exactly if or when I will be celebrating posting my 2000th image here on Flickr, but I do hope it happens some day! This photo-stream has been a gateway for me to have so many experiences that I never dreamed would be possible. It has been an amazing journey, during which I have made so many wonderful new friends - and discovered so much about myself. Some of these friendships have remained internet-based, while others have also acquired a face-to-face dimension. But all of my friends here mean a great deal to me, and I thank you for adding so much fun and happiness to my life - ever since that day back in March 2009 when I shyly posted my first three images online!

BTW.... reproduced among the comments below - for comparison - is one of the first three Rebecca George images ever posted on Flickr!

SODALITY NEWS!!

Here is a brief guide to the final group of eight aristocratic ladies who are entered for our Sodality Trials next weekend! There are in total 32 entries for the trials, and a total of eight of these ladies will be invited to join the Sisterhood once the trials have been completed. This will make a new grand total of 21 titled ladies to comprise the Sodality. Breeding, brains, wealth and beauty are essential requirements for membership, but our trials will determine which ladies also have the moral decadence, corrupting sensuality and insatiable sexual appetites to qualify for full membership!!

I wish “good luck” to all of these wonderful women (and also to their ruthlessly cuckolded husbands!), in their efforts to gain entry to our notorious Sisterhood and Sodality of Pleasure!!

GROUP D

Lady Antoinette Stableford (“Toni”)

Auburn-haired former webcam girl Toni is currently married to Sir Montague Cockburn - her third aristocratic marriage in five years. To the delight of her husband, she has now developed into a key perfomer for “Rockfist” Shatterhand’s XXX “snooty porn” websites.

Lady Charlotte Stanhope (“Charley”)

This angelic blonde temptress has been a presenter and performer on several of the UK’s top adult TV channels. Her husband, Lord Sittingbourne, clearly relishes the merciless cuckolding he receives from his glamorous hotwife – both in private, and on-screen!

Lady Penelope Stockbridge (“Penny”)

Penny will be familiar to those who are close followers of my photo-stream, as she lives in a manor house quite close to Lyndon Towers, and has participated in a number of our lingerie parties and full-scale orgies. Her husband, Lord Pelham, is mustard-keen to see his glamorous raven-headed hotwife accepted as a full member of our wicked Sisterhood!

Lady Henrietta Stones-Bacon (“Pebbles”)

Just like Penny, Pebbles has been involved in some very immoral and outrageous activities on the fringe of our Sodality for quite some time. Her husband, Viscount Augustus Higgins, would be thrilled and delighted to see his blonde hotwife graduate to full membership of our decadent Sodality.

Lady Beatrice Strangefellow (“Bee”)

This fetish model and former high-class escort recently snapped up the extremely wealthy Duke of Chester as her spouse. One of Sir Henry Cobham’s former proteges, Bee and her husband have been in negotiations with Rockfist Shatterhand about using their ancestral pile in Cheshire as the UK headquarters for Shatterhand’s XXX “posh porn” videos.

Lady Teresa Teasdale (“Tessa” or "Tess")

Tessa is the ultimate party girl, and the amazing parties (i.e. orgies) at her husband’s ancestral pile near Durham are a legend across the North East, and indeed all over the country. Ice-blonde aristocratic beauty Tess has been married to the Marquis of Carlise for almost five years - and cucks him mercilessly. Needless to say, hubby dotes on his glamorous hotwife - and can’t get enough of her outrageous antics!

Lady Venetia Ward-Ponsonby (“Vee”)

A dark and sultry brunette, Vee has been happily married to Lord Clarence Sidebottom for almost six months, and has already defiled the marriage bed in almost every conceivable way. Needless to say, hubby approves! Vee now wants to become involved in the Los Angeles XXX "posh porn" scene. Her doting and already thoroughly-cucked hubby is 100% behind her!!

Lady Celia Wentworth (“Cee”)

This Amazonian redhead is a dead ringer for warrior queen Red Sonja, from the world of sword ‘n’ sorcery movies! Currently married to His Worship the Earl of Chiddingstone, Cee is looking to branch out beyond glamour and fetish modelling for Goth websites, and become seriously involved in extreme Female Domination movies. Chad Bronkhorst is interested in Cee as a future star, but I have a feeling that her pervy aristocrat hubby would like to play a leading role himself in masterminding the development of his wife’s career as a BDSM Porno Goddess!

Next: the trials themselves! Which eight ladies will prove triumphant - and be invited to join the Sodality?

L514 rolls south on the Holly Sub, horn blaring through the small town of Gaines. Until about 8 years ago, there was a siding to the right of the train, torn out along with a few others as CN rationalized the Holly. The old GTW depot still stands here and is used by the town as administrative offices. L514 is a new local out of Flint that ferries intermodal to and from Ferndale via the Flint and Holly subs.

So we've gained an hour today, it sure didn't feel like it. I was originally planned to go somewhere but I forgot about the sunset shifting an hour forward too, so now I'm just gonna have to go walk around a little, canceling that plan for tonight :(
