Light Up The Sky
When I'm feeling all alone
There's so far to go
The signs are no where on this road
Guiding me home
When the night is closing in
It's falling on my skin
Oh God will you come close?
Light light light up the sky
You light up up the sky to show me
That you are with me
I I I can't deny
No I can't deny
That you are right here with me
You've opened my eyes
So I can see you all around me
Light light light up the sky
You light up the sky to show me
That you are with me
When stars are hiding the clouds
I don't feel them shining
When I can't see beyond my doubt
The silver lining
When I've almost reached the end
Like a flood you're rushing in
Your love is rushing in

***Special thanks to Frannz Morzo for lighting up the sky (Light Painting - lighting of the steel wool) thanks for a wonderful night with all my Road Runner friends, unforgettable moment & trip. A very awesome trip with you all.
Everytime I post a Milky Way shot, someone in my friends network ask how it looks to the naked eyes..Camera sensors are able to capture the colors in stars and galaxies while our eyes just see the white dots jotted all over the skies..of course after our eyes adapt to the night sky, sparkly blue, yellow, red and purple colored stars show up!
I visited this lighthouse with my friends on a repeat milky way shoot last night. So decided to do a different kind of processing that resembled close to our human vision and not the one from the eyes of the camera! Hope you like it..feedback most welcome...

Doreen Harrison was born in Scotland to English Jewish parents from London. Her mother had been born in Australia to English parents. Her father was in the dressmaking materials business. Her family came to Manchester when she was young. She joined a Withington Girl Guide Company as a girl in 1918. The family lived in Mauldeth Road, Withington. Then in c.1928 she and Miss Shalom and Miss Lapin started a Jewish Guide troupe in Fallowfield. Reverend Mendosa helped get support for it.
The Guide Falls are a gentle flow in summer and a raging torrent during winter. A very beautiful site. Also a must see near here is a visit to the cheese factory for cheese buying and tasting. Australia

Searching for compositions in the dark, I came across this natural pathway leading toward the rising milky way.
I've opened up dates in March for photographing scenes like this for anyone interested in leveling up their night photography in one of the most beautiful desert landscapes and designated night sky parks, Death Valley.

A winding path leads to the famous lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada, as the setting sun cast golden rays across the sky.
Today, as Canadians head to the polls, may we find leadership that, like this lighthouse, stands firm and lights the way through uncertain seas.
♥ Thank you very much for your visits, faves, and kind comments ♥

Guided by the Night
The Milky Way appears above the Swift River and the Albany Covered Bridge in the White Mountain National Forest
With the high summits in and out of the clouds on my days off, I settled on staying below tree line. I have shot here a few times a long time ago and I guess it was time for me to try and get a decent shot here. After wandering around the bridge, I finally found this bit of rushing water that seemed to hold my interest so I waded out carefully with camera in hand to set up. The foreground is actually from blue hour, just as the stars were appearing, then I waited in the cold river, with fish nibbling on my toes, to shoot the sky. All in all, it took about an hour and a half to shoot this, but the results from this technique are certainly worth it!
Here is the second image from Iceland, captured in a place you may not have heard of: Grjótagjá. This cave is one of the most challenging locations I’ve ever photographed a dog in.
While traversing the entire country, we paused in the northeast to explore beautiful locations like this geothermal lava cave, historically used for bathing due to its hot waters.
Entering was no easy feat; the areas where one could stand were very limited, with just two entrances providing opportunities for photography. Our model displayed remarkable courage, adapting beautifully to this unconventional environment.
Inside the cave, gusts of wind stirred, and the steam obscured my view of the subject in the distance. I’m grateful that Bosì could stay on the rock undisturbed for a few moments, allowing the wind to settle, enabling a clearer shot.
