I purchased this from a Brazilian dealer in Tucson. I paid a small premium for this color -- described as "super extra" at the dealer's booth. It is a little nicer than the normal prasiolite in that it lacks much of the gray mask most of these stones have.
I'm pretty pleased with this design too -- I think I'll use it again in some other materials.

These earrings are very descrete dispite their length. The soft colours and the fact that all the details in the focals are all silver makes them blend in with whatever you are wearing.
This one of a kind glass butterful was handmade by me in the flame. Captivating wings of medium amber and creamy mocha on the upper wings and pale mint green on the lower wings. The body is a pretty golden bronze with tons of sparkle from the dichroic glass. This piece was created completely by free-form, no presses were used to create this butterfly.
Butterfly has been wire wrapped onto a sterling silver bail and topped with a swarovski crystal and a beautiful faceted green amethyst briolette dropping from below. This butterfly measures 1.75 inches in length and about 2 inches in width (at its widest point). Including the bail and the briolette the piece drops down about 2.75 inches.
A heavinly assortment of greens... The lentil shaped glass lampwork beads are handmade by me and consist of a brown frit, shimmering green dicrhoic glass on a base of vibrant emerald green and coated with a pale citrine yellow. Each glass bead is finished with a fancy sterling silver end cap and wired to amazing colored faceted green fluorite nuggets.
The center focal is also handmade by me. Sterling silver wire was shaped into a teardrop and hammered. The shape was then coiled with very fine gauge stering silver wire. Woven into the center are pretty faceted fall tourmaline and prehnite rondelles. Dropping below is a spectacular and flawless faceted green amethyst briolette.
Clustered between each set of glass beads and green fluorite nuggets are faceted pale citrine onion briolettes, faceted prehnite briolettes, and faceted vesuvanite briolettes. All gems have been wrapped onto the necklace with sterling silver headpins. Necklace measures 17 inches and focal hangs down about 2 inches from the center. Necklace is finished with a sterling silver hammered s-clasp.
Gorgeous step-cut Green Amethyst nuggets, interspersed with silver wrapped clusters of Green Amethyst and Fluorite rondelles, and pale green Keishi pearls.
AAA grade stones - briquette-shaped amethyst, green amethyst and citrine, all eye clean with no inclusions, and beautifully cut.
Clusters of matching rondelles suspended from the pins are a perfect match for the larger stones. Again, superb clarity and faceting.

Fabulous pale colors invoke dreams of stunning ice glaciers and their extensive beauty. These glass lampwork beads were handmade by me in the flame. Pretty pale shades of minty green and black all floating in a transparent clear and shimmering dichroic glass.
Each glass bead has been wrapped with very fine gauge sterling silver wire from top to bottom. At the top and bottom center wrapped in wire are pretty freshwater cultured pearls. Clustered below the glass focal beads is a breathtaking combination of mystic topaz and green amethyst. At the very bottom are intensely beautiful checker cut rock crystal diamond puff briolettes.
For this opulent necklace I strung creamy freshwater pearls on beading thread and threaded them through sterling silver bards. The top strand is slightly shorter than the other four, giving the necklace a lovely drape. From the center silver bar hangs a faceted green amethyst pendant on sparking sterling silver chain. This gemstone is a beautiful soft celery color. A lobster claw clasp provides a secure closure and I've included three rings to make the length of the necklace adjustable.
This necklace measures just under 12.5 inches (32cm) at it's smallest. The necklace can also adjust to measure 13.25 or 14 inches (34 or 35.5cm). The green amethyst pendant hangs just under 2.75 inches (7cm) from the top of the silver bar from which it is suspended.
All of the metal in this gorgeous choker is sterling silver.
Freshwater creamy silver keishi pearls are hand linked, one by one, on a mix of bright fine silver, oxidized fine silver and vermeil headpins. Interspersed among the pearls are glittering blue topaz, aquamarine, moss aquamarine, green amethyst, white topaz and green sapphires. The piece is finished with a hand-crafted clasp framed by two beautiful blue topaz rondelles. The piece is finished with a small 1/2 inch extender chain and a beautifully hued London blue topaz briolette to dangle at the wrist.
Bracelet can be further modified for a custom fit.

I had such a hard time designing this piece. I even started with a different focal! In the end, I kept thinking of plants and berries and how everything needs water to live and grow. So my quartz is the big pool of water from which the leaves (pearls) and berries (watermelon tourmaline) grew and blossomed a lovely flower (prasiolite.) Hence, La Dolce Vita!
This necklace is a total length of 36", which makes it great for matching with other necklaces, or doubling up as a focal layering piece. I took great care to space the little clusters of berries and leaves so they would somewhat line up when the necklace was doubled to its 18" length.
Another piece inspired by birds. The strap is made with the same blue quartz flat pear briolettes as the tail. The wing is a beautiful water green amethyst gemstone (prasiolite).
