The Shell-Haus (Shell House) is a classical modernist architectural masterpiece that stands overlooking the Landwehrkanal in the Tiergarten district of Berlin, Germany. It was designed by Emil Fahrenkamp and was built in 1930–31.

Meine Einzylinder-Adler (eine M2011, Baujahr 1955), wie ich sie 1978 aufgenommen habe. Die Adler ist immer noch in meinem Besitz, und ich habe sie 2018 nach Jahrzehnte langem Dornröschenschlaf in einer Scheune mechanisch wieder herrichten lassen und fahre sie mit dem gleichen Vergnügen, mit dem ich mir alte Fotos von ihr anschaue.

My Adler single (M 2011 from 1955) in 1978. I still own this bike which slept for decades in a barn and was restored mechanically in 2018. I take great pleasure in riding it and equal pleasure in looking at old pictures of it like this one.
