This is the traditional commemorative gate known as 仁華門 (Inhwa-mun), one of the main entrance arches to Incheon Chinatown, located in Incheon, South Korea.
Incheon Chinatown was officially established in 1883 following the opening of Incheon Port. It is recognized as the only remaining official Chinatown in South Korea, preserving the legacy of early Chinese immigration to the peninsula. The district maintains a strong architectural and cultural influence from China, with the Inhwa-mun serving as one of its most emblematic structures, marking and symbolizing the historical identity of the area.
The 仁華門 (Inhwa-mun) stands in a prominent spot that provides easy access to the district. It sits next to the 한중문화관 (Korean–Chinese Cultural Center), an institution dedicated to fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Korea and China. The proximity of these two key landmarks—the historic gate and the cultural center—highlights the area’s role as a significant cross-cultural hub.
Today, Incheon Chinatown is a vibrant cultural destination known for its colorful streets, traditional gates, and its blend of Chinese and Korean heritage. Visitors can explore historic buildings, temples, and museums, as well as enjoy regional Chinese-inspired dishes such as jjajangmyeon, which is said to have originated in this very neighborhood. The area also connects to nearby attractions like Jayu Park and the modern Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village, making it a unique intersection of history, culture, and contemporary tourism.

We are so forthuate that caring people worked hard to preserve this land from the housing development slated to exploit all of the Marin Headlands. The power of a reflection is so mysterious and preserved for all time thanks to their strong efforts. This photograph is from well after sunset -- just grabbed us as we drove along this narrow bridge. We slammed on the brakes, fought with the tripod, prayed that no car would hit us and grabbed this shot. My son took the same view just to the left (he didn't want the bush in the way(!). We are looking West across the lagoon with Rodeo Beach just beyond, and the Point Bonita Lighthouse to our left. Adjustments were minimal (I used a polarizing filter, sharpened it a touch with minimal contrast enhancement. The red color is from my emergency blinkers.)

This golden beast with scorpion-like tail rules his realm of sand. Not the biggest of dragon kind, but size matters not in harsh environments like desert. Velocity matters, so those dragons can run and fly really fast.
Actually I thought I'd never be able to take a picture like this, because there are no deserts in metropolis, obviously. Well, last week I was going to the store and I've seen a HUGE piles of sand with no fences around. I don't know how tall it is, a few floors tall, I guess, I felt really tiny when I stood at the base of it (but I'm smol myself).
I postponed all further plans for that day, though my plans were urgent, and rushed home to take the dragon with me and go back to that miraculous sand mountain. The bus didn't show up for quite a long time and I was extremely worried that the sun will set soon and it will be too dark (the day was also cloudy). But I arrived exactly at that beautiful short time on the sunset when the light is absolutely magical, and the sun has graced me by coming out from behind the clouds. :D I'm really proud of this picture!
I did thought about maybe taking more pictures with the minifigures, but when I checked the mountain the first time, I realised the sand grain is too big (not like on a beach) and dirty and it probably would not look well with the minifigures. Also I was afraid to spend too much time by taking them out of the boxes and missing the rare bus.
So I took only the dragon - of course, it should be the dragon! After all, it's the Year of the Dragon! ;) And I would like to have a picture for all my pet dragons from LEGO sets one day. For most of them I took at least one picture in previous years, so I'm thinking about those who has never appeared in my pictures before.
