Tomorrow we have a presentation at church and I'm gonna play "Aguilus" - A Philippine super hero that is suppose to be half man half eagle.
Anyway, my 1st attempt was me in my costume.. but I didn't get my desired look.. So I just decided to take a photo of this feather.
After 120+ shots (60% the feather is not in the frame), I got this... haha... this is super frustrating!! worst than water drops.. when I drop the feather it goes into different places even if the room is practically wind less..
I'm quite happy with this shot. :)

Godbless guys!!
Godbless to all my groupmates at the presentation tomorrow! This is all for the glory of God!! :)
The picture starts with the Book of Exodus chapter 15 and the verse 22… “Moses led the people of Israel away from the Red Sea into the desert of Shur”…Yesterday the people of God was feeling an indescribable rapture after the hand of the Almighty took the people out of the land of slavery after years of oppression in Egypt…Not only that but He also filled their pockets with gold! He miraculously split the sea so they can walk on dry land to the other bank!!! They were more than joyful and I can almost hear the “hallelujah(s)”!
Soon the scene changed and they found themselves lost in a desolate wilderness…three days of walking and no oasis!!! no pond, no sign of life at all… the unseen Lord was supposedly there but the pitiful limitedness of man wants something tangible…we judge by what we see, and like kids we want our dad and mom walk with us HAND IN HAND…water was found at last but too much bitter to drink!!! Here came the need for God to act…Moses prayed “earnestly” the Book says and the problem was solved, again with the aid of God….
Similar episodes are repeated at some point of everybody’s life… when everything is ok and probably better than fine and all of a sudden something happens that seems to take our joy away…our inner peace is disturbed…anxiety looms as faith begins to shake!
It could be a disease, a financial problem, a bitterness we feel inside after someone we love so much has let us down…we realize we are in dire need for solutions, we look for alternatives, we thirst and go hungry and it could take some time before full recovery is restored BUT if we try to still our minds for a moment and silently ponder upon the surroundings we can feel the caring hand of the Lord… and as was the case with the the old people, some sort of manna and quails are always on the way to our rescue…
The verse “I am the Lord, the one who heals you” is for all of us…we are so dear to our heavenly Father, He may allow that we pass through times of difficulty but He is never to abandon us…He is the one to be fully trusted all the time!!!
This work is dedicated to:

This guy was intriguing. I only saw him one time. He was clean shaven and hair perfectly coiffed. I wonder his story.
This capture is dedicated to our friend Rene, we learnt of his sad passing yesterday....
Rene followed our photostream with such keen interest, he always left such beautiful and poetic comments...
Goodnight and godbless Rene...

This one taken within the same session as the previous image...
Im much happier with this one... and the colours are sooo much more natural. I did still have to do the usual desat with the colours, which i did using cs4, but it seems to have uploaded much the same as i had processed it. I think maybe i need to get back into the swing of macro shooting again... In all honesty i have not really had my macro lens set on my camera now for many months and i now think its down to me to start learning again!!!
I guess its just like falling off a bike... huh???
Night, Godbless, All...

A POST! I've had this guy sitting around for a while, just been procrastinating. More builds to come, perhaps not soon, but there will be more. Thanks and Godbless!
"The officers of the Green Mountain Boys were in an meeting at the Catamount Inn, when one of our scouts burst through the door. He came over to our table in the backroom and explained that a troop of fifty New York soldiers as well as several Indian scouts, were on their way to Hans Jenken's farm, where they intended to forcefully evict Hans, then burn down his house and barns. We sounded the alarm and before too long we had sixty of the boys ready for action. The officers rode on horseback, while the rest of the men rode in backs of wagons pulled by double-hitched horses. We went as fast as we could go, and before too long the four miles that had separated us was now just a couple of feet. We alerted Hans to the incoming threat, and he promptly gathered up his family and belongings and locked them in the basement. We then developed a battle plan...Two hours later we heard the steady, rhythmic marching of a small force of men. Hans was waiting for them astride his horse, while the rest of us were either hunkered down behind the stonewall next to his cornfield or in the sheds and barns. Their captain approached him and asked him to leave peacefully. Hans looked at him sadly, and then asked him to leave peacefully or else.
The captain looked up at him with a surprised look on his face and launched a tirade on the rights of New York and of their actions. Then he ordered two of his men to seize Hans. Hans quickly turned his horse around and galloped away towards his house. The New Yorkers began to open fire, and so did we. We popped up behind the stonewall, stuck our guns out of windows and cracks, jumped out from behind haystacks and let our bullets fly. In the first few minutes of the skirmish the New Yorkers lost twenty-two men, nearly half their force. We only had one injury. Unfortunately we began to run out of ammunition, so the boys attacked with their musket butts, hunting knives, and the occasional sword. I had fired my rifle for some time, but I jumped up and swinging my sword felled a soldier trying to blow me away with his musket. Then I ran toward their captain, he turned and saw me coming. He tried to duck, but it was too late. My pistol's ball hit him dead in the chest. He sank to the ground. The battle was over. The eleven New Yorker survivors were sent back to their governor with a message from me. We had lost just one man, and six of us had been wounded. We have won our first battle, but how many more will come?

I hope you enjoy this build, it was a fun challenge for me. This was also the first picture I edited using Pixlr, which was a blast.
This was inspired by TBA's www.flickr.com/photos/thebrickavenger/8248214378/in/photo... Chalus creation, which I really enjoyed. I hope I did the inspiration justice here.
