IT OCCURS in bush and in the scrub country, near to rivers, these have a square tail, with no central elongated feathers. Got lucky on this close encounter with this beauty at the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.

This is how ill remember my wee man..
he was with me when i took most of the pictures here on flickr..
my sidekick as many of you refered to..
he loved his walks out with me..
he adored the sea ,,
my beautiful gentle boy went so peacfully he seemed ready for his next adventure..
a part of me died this morning .
hes left a huge gaping hole in my heart one that could never be replaced..
i spent 14 precious years with the old guy..
i vividly remember the first time i ever met him..
a sad wee dog in a rescue centre they said he was about 4 maybe 5..
i had gone to look for a german shepherd..
and fell in love with this terrified ginger dog who cowered in a corner.
so unloved but wanting to be loved so badly..
i had to wait five days incase he was reclaimed by the wankers who had treated him so badly..
i prayed and rang every day to make sure he was still there..
the start of the most amazing friendship...
i could tell you so many stories about the dog who loved nature and the world around him..
i want to thank you all for your beautiful words they help..
godbless you all for loving my beautiful Oscar..
my heart will heal in time..
i have some of the most wonderful memoiries of him..
im going to have to learn to walk alone with out my wee ginger shadow
full of mischief and adventure..
I stayed with him till the end it was peacful and dignified...

Christmas is almost here and before I get stuck with the celebrations I want to say "thank you" to all my contacts and viewers who have bear with me for the past year. I remember this was the same time last year where my views started soaring up in the air and for that I truly appreciate your support. I wish to thank all those who have inspired me to better my photography, the groups whom I have collaborated with, those who drop me flickr mails thanking me for the inspirations, and above all you guys for not forgetting my stream.
It has been a tough year for me and for all of us. If not for photography I wouldn't be standing in my two feet today.
I leave you with this shot coming from my golden archives taken in Fingal Heads in NSW Australia. A place I truly miss and I look forward to returning here in God's time.
I wish you all my constant viewers and contacts, active or non-active (like me most of the time, lol!), the best in this holiday season. A prosperous year to all of us. Enjoy and godbless!

Our Beloved Mother, Lydia Empleo y Gabito, 69.. expired this afternoon... yesterday she was diagnosed with Leukemia, and today she has returned to her Creator.
She was a strong and hardworking mother, raising 6 kids alone.. we lost our father when I was barely 2 years old..
But she was also the most kindhearted woman I ever met.. never stopped caring for all he people around her.. be it a friend, a relative.. a co-worker or a complete stranger.
I can list down all the merits this woman had.. but most of all, she was our beloved Mother.
My only regret is that.. I never get the chance to talk to her and say how much I love her even for the last time... I'm still with flu so I wasn't able to visit her in the hospital.. only this afternoon when she's critical that I was able to come.. but she's already slipping away..
I just hope that she knew that I love her so much!!!
Please include her to your prayers...
