On Saturday, November 1, 2014 at approximately 8:00 PM, a truck was seen driving in circles in a corn field in the 900 block of Allendale Road, Mechanicsburg, PA. The driver realized he was being watched and fled the field at high rate of speed. In the 1200 block of Allendale Road the driver was traveling too fast to negotiate a curve in the roadway. He initially struck a telephone pole, drove over that pole and then drove through some bushes and struck a tree, where the truck stopped. Two juvenile passengers sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. Upper Allen Police were assisted by West Shore EMS, Hampden Township EMS and the Upper Allen Fire Department.
On Saturday my wife and I attended the Beast of Bladenboro Festival. As we walked back to where we parked our car, we checked out the cars at the car show.
