British version of Super Joe
This is the closest that Super Joe ever gets tot a backstory.
Image blatantly stolen from the awesome Plaid Satllions website, I justify this in 2 ways:
1) If that website gets deleted, all the awesoem Super Joe pics on it will be preserved elsewhere
2) I'm trying tot get all the best Super Joe art and photos concentrated in one place, namely, my Flickr Super Joe group!
Ah, the Skystriker. I loved the hell out of this toy as a kid. Next to the Falcon, it was my favorite aircraft. No idea what happened to my original, but happy to have the new one.
Once I can unbox it. Which will be when I figure out a place to put it.
ROC Viper Legs
Alley Viper head
Arctic Storm Shadow body
Jungle BAT lower left arm.
A landmark for me as I've not swapped lower limbs before! I had to shave down the peg to get it to fit. The head is a bit high but I've misplaced the dremel bit that I use.
Roadblock version 2 was released with the fourth wave of figures in 2008 making it the eighth wave figures in the line.

These Vipers are testing their skills on Cobra's rifle range. A Crimson Guard is following the progress to spot some potential recruits for their own regiments.
The 1984 G.I. Joe MANTA (Marine Assault Nautical Transport: Air Driven). Complete and restored with new decals.
The MANTA was available as a Mail Away item with 5 "Flag Points" for one dollar. Complete and restored with new decals.
Once broken down the MANTA can be transported on foot by one man via it’s backpack.
The G.I. Joe Silver Mirage Cycle. Complete and restored with new decals.
The vehicle was first released in 1985 with the fourth wave of the collection.
This was my brother’s.
Of all the Joe vehicles we had in the house growing up the Silver Mirage Cycle was my least favorite. It wasn’t the only Joe vehicle that was fragile but it was the only Joe vehicle that I felt was pointless. Just a few years after Ram Cycle this shiny steel upgrade felt unnecessary. The ridiculous sidecar and ludicrous addition of missiles left this guy in the bottom of the toy box. The cycle did clean up really nice and it was actually a pleasure to apply the decals but this just feels like a sad, desperate attempt to out do the RAM with some ideas that you’d see on a child’s drawing.
