I promised someone some shots of my chile garden. This is a young Anaheim chile, about 5 inches (12 - 13 cm) long. It should almost double in size before harvest (if it doesn't get stunted by the heat coming up). I will have a couple more to post tomorrow or Friday.

This is Gerd.

More than 4 years ago, I started a project portraying homeless people by only showing one half of their face.

Part of the idea was that when we see homeless people that single aspect dominates our perception, so we only see "half" (actually: much less) of the person. It's difficult to see something beyond that one half.

I never got to complete that project. Nevertheless,I've now decided to publish a few of the portraits I've taken.
