There I post more of my work.

We are going away for the long Thanksgiving weekend after work tomorrow..may not have time to pop in...have a wonderful weekend everyone! I added a layer to this one which i may post it in the for Gorgeous Green Thursday......but I like this one too :-)

There is this place I like to go to after a heavy rain and take a few photos. I enjoy a good “Gentle Stream” with the right camera and shutter speed. The results are usually worth the effort. Thanks for viewing my photos. Gratitude and Kindness are never far from a great nature capture.

It took me over 2 hours to climb to the summit of Glas Tulaichean from the derelict lodge, but as I'd taken the bike up with me, the descent took a mere 15 minutes!! So here I am, back below the clouds and can enjoy the rest of my sandwiches in the relative wramth next to the gentle falls, tumbling Larch trees in the their Autumn colours.

Glas Tulaichean is my 5th Munro of the season and the 28th in total, bringing me to a Munro completion rate of near enough 10%. The mountain stands at 1051 meters (3448 feet) and is the last one I will do as I have now moved away from Scotland and back to my roots in South Yorkshire as the pull of the Grandchildren was just too strong.

As a child, I was often found exploring my surroundings and collecting treasures to place in my pockets. As an adult, I pretty much do the same thing...although I now also have a camera with me. Happy hunting, fellow photographers!

Sometimes a bird does come along :)

We spent a peaceful afternoon at the Suffolk Punch Trust where they breed and care for these very special heavy horses.

Sous les verts feuillages,

La mésange douce se pose,

Souffle de tendresse.

Under green foliage,

The gentle titmouse lands,

Breath of tenderness.

Well before the sky coloured up the waves were crashing allowing me to take a few long exposures. It's a very calming process, and is about the only thing that slows me down. Gentle is by Low, a gentle end to the day.

In a small pond, filled with 20 or more goslings and their parents, a tiny grebe tries to blend in.

The folded t-shirt that lines up with his eyes has 3 cat faces and says "I was normal three cats ago."

My very first experiment with my new 50mm

“May the sun bring you new energy every day. May the moon softly restore you by night. May the rain wash away your worries. May the breeze blow new strength into your being. May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.” ~Apache Blessing
