Quero mais uma dal! Ou 2 ou 3!.-.

The parts selection in dark blue is getting better all the time so these are becoming less and less of a challenge. Financially they are still pretty challenging!

Two of NJ Transit's four P40DCs sit under wire in the Loco Yard at the Meadows Maintenance Complex. These four locomotives where purchased from Amtrak for the short-lived "Atlantic City Express Service." Since that service has ended, these locomotives are no longer in captive ACES service. When this photo was taken, the 4801 was the only one of the four in service and can occasionally be seen on the Atlantic City Line or the Raritan Line. It's three sisters sit out of service at the MMC awaiting various repairs.

Back in August of 2012, GE released their Tier 4 emissions locomotive. It will spend some time in Pueblo, CO being tested before going out on the road for some real world tests. I'm not sure what it's even called, but the production version will probably look slightly different anyway. It's like an ES44AC with the upper vents of an AC6000.

Before I started this build, I had a fairly big bag of ever-awesome lime bricks and I thought I should have plenty to build this; no problem. Well, like some famous Lego builder once said, "It's not about how many pieces you have, it's about how many of the same piece you have." So after WAY too many BL orders it's finally done. The vent colors may need to be tweaked here and there, but overall I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out.

I spent almost the entirety of this day on the Whitewater Valley RR. This is a railroad I visited briefly back in 2006 just to see East Broad Top 0-6-0 #6 on my way to Colorado to visit the western narrow gauges for the first time. I've been wanting to get back to the WWVR for years for a proper visit.

Built in 1940 by General Electric at Erie, Pa. Designed to resemble a 1930s Ford automobile, these 132-ton center-cab locomotives were originally built for the Ford Motor Company. No. 1700 operated on the Wellsville, Addison & Galeton Railroad. Only eight of this design were built and this unit, at the Lake Shore Railway Museum, is the only one remaining in existence.
