G I Joe Rise of Cobra and Retaliation figures. Duke, Flint, Roadblock, Heavy Duty, Scarlett, Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes and Ripcord.
Hasbro #6947 G.I. Joe Capcom M. Bison Street Fighter II 1/6-scale Action Figure, circa 1993 release.
Why? Whyyyyyy? Why did I buy this guy a few weeks ago? I mean, he was inexpensive -- about twenty bucks shipped. But still, that's twenty bucks pretty much flushed away!
Maybe I coulda won that $1.8-billion lottery last weekend if I'd invested the twenty bucks in lottery tickets.
It was an impulse buy. I saw the hat -- yeah, the hat -- in a pic on an action figure forum. One of the forum members used the hat on one of his girl action figures and it looked really cute. 'Natch I hadda have a quick look at eBay to see if I could find the hat. I found the hat... with the complete figure.
The figure includes all his original weapons and accessories and even his "I.D. card" which was carefully clipped from the original packaging.
But still... why'd I do it?
I seriously need to get ahold of myself when it comes to impulse control.
(I think maybe I finally figured out why I've been on a low-key spending spree lately. Not enough to put myself in dire financial straits, but enough that I'm accumulating crap I don't need and don't really want that's starting to put a squeeze on things I really need and want. and taking up space I don't really have. I'm pretty sure I can stop now that I've figured it out -- and now that the junk that's showing up in the mail is more annoying than fun.)
((It's not even like I can say, "well, yeah, I didn't need this action figure, but it's pretty cool." No, it's a toy-like figure from the early 1990s that doesn't fit in with anything I have that's based on a Capcom video game franchise that I never played and in which I've never had any interest.))
7 September - A Doll A Day 2025
Went on a road trip to visit a far away toy store. I can't wait to get this BUGG all cleaned up.
If anyone has a spare Secto helmet (real or BM repro) pm me.
G.I.JOE: Resolute Revisited
One of the best franchise re-incarnations to date. Resolute showed a more matured and realistic take on the G.I.JOE story. Here's my photo shoot featuring the heroes, Duke, Flint, Beachhead and of course, Snake Eyes.

Ah, the shadow-man hesitates to shoot. Perhaps he remembers how I spared his life in the Arctic. Or perhaps he is wondering why I didn't disarm him as I did the others. The bolt on your Uzi is locked back indicating a dry magazine... ...Throw down your weapon and nobody will die.
The Sea Adventurer leaves the safety of Sea Wolf to search for treasure on the sea floor. Not realizing he's being stalked by a Great White Shark. With out warning the shark attacks. The Sea Adventurer shoves his spear gun in the sharks mouth and a struggle ensues. Just as fast as the attack started it was over. The Great White disappeared in to the darkness of the ocean. And the Sea Adventurer realizes just how lucky he is. He doesn't want the shark to try again so without further delay he swims back to the Sea Wolf.
G.I. Joe ARAH #2 was my first Joe comic. Right from that point I was hooked. We would visit my Grandparents every Sunday and on the way home once a month my parents would stop at a Dairy Mart on the way home so I could get the next issue. Great memories.
In the 1980's our youngest son, Bryce, had a huge G. I. Joe collection.
In 2003, he gave to our grandson, David. Being an Army brat, he really enjoyed playing with them.
Oh man I've wanted this set for a long time. I finally found this at a decent price so i jumped on it. The Drive into Danger set is one of the coolest newer Joe sets they made.
--Raider--
I'm done! This is the first real MOC I've posted in a while and it feels good. The Raider was (is) one of my favorite GI Joe vehicles. It has tons of play features that made it difficult to build. Building LEGO GI Joe vehicles affords the opportunity to add functionality that the toy was missing so I wasn't about to leave stuff out!
G I Joe 3 3/4" figures from 80's. I took them out of their cards and displayed back then but all of them are now in storage. I kept the backing cards but in retrospect it would have been great if I did not take them out in the first place but, hey, I had good times with them playing. All the parts are there and all in mint condition is one good thing. I have lost the count but it may be about 130 of them. When I have time I will count them again. Ah,,, memories.
