Miami HEAT's legend Juwan Howard helps Miami Beach summer camp participants to learn to swim with help from Normandy Pool's lifeguards. Howard got some help from HEAT mascot Bernie who entertained and cheered up the crowd.

Apologies to Garth for missing yesterday's challenge but I hope I managed to catch it today! This guy and his female partner played with their frisbee for approximately 2-hours! They were both having great fun and to be quite honest he got most everyone's attention as he was really quite skilled - he really made that little spinning thing do all sorts of twists, turns and bumps! The two girls couldn't care less they were too busy chatting and catching the warm rays!
I was well and truly impressed at Mr. Frisbee's overall "spirit of his age" - he wasn't that young but could compete with any youngster with that youthful spirit he displayed to all us onlookers - who all applauded many times!

The grandkids enjoyed another windy afternoon in Oklahoma, taking wagon rides behind the John Deere and then bobbing for apples....
On this day we celebrated our First Grandchild's 8th birthday... Rachel Lucia was born in Northern Italy. She has attended school there since she was 3 yrs old. As her Daddy was recently transferred to an American AFB, she and her Mommy, brother & baby sister arrived in America Saturday. She has always wanted to celebrate a birthday in America and this year she got her wish...a birthday celebration with her American cousins!
This week was the perfect week to fly kites in our Oklahoma wind, between thunder storms and tornadoes and then have wiener roasts and go fishing! Taking wagon rides with her siblings and cousins and then bobbing for apples made for a perfect birthday party and fun in the sun!
