We've had the traditional Thurston's Fun Fair at Midsummer Common in Cambridge over the Bank Holiday weekend. Just trying to capture some of the fun at the fair.

Went out for a walk and noticed that a Fun Fair had set up in Hills Meadow Car Park.
[I came back a few days later with my daughter & niece and they did enjoy it :) - those photos to come :)]
And Oldham's answer to the Manchester Wheel is there...this shot was taken on Saturday 16th February.
Does anyone know if the funfair is still in this area?
Last weekend Berglunds tivoli, a traveling funfair visited Västerhaninge. A big hit with the local kids and a certain flickr photographer. I met the owner Jonny Berglund, and took his portrait for the 100 Strangers project. Today this is all that remains from their visit.
There's a funfair in Västerhaninge all weekend. I was there today and met the owner. Jonny Berglund. He posed for a portrait for my 100 Strangers set. We talked for a while and he pointed out these big paintings of his three kids that you can see at the fair. This is his son Johan.
