Bray Summerfest, Ireland's biggest free family 'beach party'. Running over six weeks during July and August, Bray Summerfest Festival is still the biggest free festival in Ireland and still combines the best in live music, beach and sea sports, funfairs, fireworks, outdoor concerts, markets, an air display, street performances, and much, much more. As well the main event site on Bray Seafront, they have got activities at event sites all across Bray.

Biggleswade Christmas Lights were switched on on Friday 4 Devember 2009 by Nikki Grahame (who?).
Harris' Funfair was set up in the market square and there were thousands of people around for the Switch On. It's a Biggleswade Tradition - This has been happening for almost 50 years, but funding is always a problem.

All that remains of the once bustling funfair with Big Dipper, Helter skelter and roundabouts galore. In the background is the rather better preserved Bottle Kiln, from the Portobello Pottery.
