We had a great day at 'Blue Lagoon' - named after the colour of the water that just happened to be green on the day we were there. Situated in a lush humid valley to the side of Vangviang, this small but deep river was perfect for cooling off in its cool waters flowing out from a nearby cave in the hills. The tree branches above were perfect for jumping into the see-through waters below, full of fast darting fish of all sizes. After the fun-filled day of swimming, jumping, diving and eating, we rode our bicycles back down the gravel roads and rice paddy filled river valleys back to Vangviang in the early evening.

This is made especially for the European Streetteam 'challenge of the week' on Etsy.

We try to have fun and challenge each other in our creativity.

This is a little wooden key tag with a fun flying bird on it. I made a stamp of this bird recently and I lightly stamped it on the wood. Then I woodburned the design with the pyrography technique so that it would stay in the wood. I added some clouds to it so that it would look like a real bird since my niece (12) thought it was a chicken when I showed her! ;)
