I took several pictures of these boys playing and throwing pebbles into the sea. Then all of a sudden my memory card was full and I didn't have chance replace it!
We had to go do a few touch-n-goes at Hicks before returning to Meacham. The sun was setting and the haze sucked but I thought these came out okay. Landing at Hicks on runway 14 is neat because of this unique view you have on base and final.

Flora's Fashion Competition had the second of three rounds today. The next one will be August 31, 2013 at L'Amour Runway. The ladies are given a genre to style and have anywhere from 20 minutes to 1/2 to style it and present it on the runway. 4 judges then determine with strict criteria who will move on. These are the four finalist moving on the the final. From left to right:
Spirit, Flora CEO FFc Dementia and Oraclelight. Please keep an eye out for next event in September.
Back in 2005, my friend Corey and I took a roadtrip to Florida! We visited his grandparents on one side of the state, and then some friends of ours on the other side. The brother we stayed with had a teenage son and daughter that he asked us to take back to Pennsylvania as they were going to stay with friends, and since we were in the state anyway, it was more convenient for us to take them back. We had tons of fun-among the places we went to was the Everglades (those swamp alligators were neat!) and a Packard museum (they had some cars made before World War 1)
