This is a shot from my first test roll in the Olympus XA2. It seems to have a tendency to underexpose a little, but the pictures otherwise look pretty good! (I'm sure it also needs a new battery). The film is Fuji 200.
The "Fun Corner" is a shop that sells costumes, novelties, and toys. It's on Baseline Street, in San Bernardino, California. This place has been here forever. I remember going there when I was a little kid around 1987-1988, when we first moved to California. It used to be next to other buildings, but they were torn down some time ago. The block is kind of deserted now.
BTW, I made some slight adjustments to this picture because I thought it was too dark. However, I'm also viewing this on a computer with an older CRT monitor, so maybe what I'm seeing is different than what you guys see. I re-posted the original image from the photo lab:

So much fun! You can just sit and get lost in it. Thank you again Martha Lever and Rainbow Elephant!
What a fun photo shoot! I'm still scraping off the rust from an unplanned hiatus from portrait shooting so it's been fun getting back in the groove. I had a chance to shoot with the lovely Nelly, a recent transplant to the Boise area. She is a lovely young lady - very photogenic and creative. I see this as being the first of many shoots with her - nothing wrong with that!
We did this shoot in August 2015 in Freak Alley in downtown Boise, ID.

Having more fun with optical illusions being inspired by this thread. Used Sculpture Generator and an optical illusion inspired pattern for this result. Just don't get dizzy. lol
