My husband and our daughter playing at Deildartunguhver. They had so much fun "posing" for me!
Deildartunguhver is a hotspring in Reykholtsdalur, Iceland. It is characterized by a very high flow rate for a hot spring (180 liters/second) and water emerges at 97 °C. It is the highest-flow hot spring in Europe

Enjoy watching some animals frolicking in the fall leaves!
Six Firefly video clips edited in Canva and I added the audio "Fall Fun" by Thomas and Friends to go with it. I used my own text prompts to generate the video clips.
Thanks for your views, comments, awards, invites, and faves.
Having fun photographing the frogs at the RBG pond! The water around the lilypads was so interesting.
Spent a couple of hours today at The National White Water Centre - Canolfan Dŵr Gwyn Genedlaethol, didn't venture too far from the cafe as the tea and cake was too nice As you might expect, I took a few snaps whilst I was there, don't know why I don't visit more often, I always enjoy it here
This photo, taken 15+ years ago was miserably blurred (yet shared here because of the city character and emotion captured).
Now with today's software capabilities I tried to bring it to decent quality and feel it's worth (re)posting?
18th September 2020:
This wasn't what I had in mind for today, but I couldn't find my props for what I actually wanted to take. I'll have to have a good rummage around to find them.
So I raided the old battery box that goes to the main supermarket next week to be emptied, took them into the garden with some other things and started building.
Had to have a rethink half way through when all the batteries standing up kept falling down, but got there in the end.
Just a bit of fun on a rather lovely day, while Graham was out with Rufus and Izzy was sunbathing.
Today is : International Grenache Day - nationaldaycalendar.com/international-grenache-day-third-...

Feathers insulate birds from water and cold temperatures.
They may also be plucked to line the nest and provide insulation to the eggs and young.
The individual feathers in the wings and tail play important roles in controlling flight.
Some species have a crest of feathers on their heads. Although feathers are light, a bird's plumage weighs two or three times more than its skeleton, since many bones are hollow and contain air sacs.
Colour patterns serve as camouflage against predators for birds in their habitats.
Striking differences in feather patterns and colours are part of the sexual dimorphism of many bird species and are particularly important in selection of mating pairs.
A good alternative for flowers, if you want colour, shapes and textures, is feathers.
I had a lot of fun with these, always trying to ‘perfection’ and bring the best.
Here straight feathers in graduating colours.
I wish you all a very good day and thanks for all your kind words, time, comments and likes. Very much appreciated. Magda, (*_*)

I like to take pictures for fun. No fun, no point! I know what I do is not everyone's idea of fun, as my mother will remind me, but it's 'me' and I would hate to be like everyone else. So wherever I go now the chances are I will have my penguin costume with me, looking to break up that iconic landscape with something that I can pronounce as 'different'. So, if I can find a snowy landscape this weekend, you know what is coming. Or may be not.
My husband and I are creating a new playroom as with the addition of another babe we will need some more room
I created these felt portraits of the kids to be fun and funky for in the new space and I just love how they came out!
