My son at 2! It's been awhile since I loaded up this older Lightroom catalog. I had decided to give a fresh process to some older '5 star' photos. This black and white capture will always be a favorite of mine; in fact, 2007 was a really fun time as I was taking that next step in photography. I had just purchased the camera I would shoot my first wedding with. An exciting time of exploration of my then new craft.
There was quite a lot of interest in a photo I recently posted, showing an AEC Matador towing vehicle. Well here's another. It comes from a film exposed during July 1978. I have no recollection of taking it and there is not much background to go on, but the location is probably Rodway Hill, Mangotsfield, near Bristol. As we can see, the vehicle belonged to a showman, possibly Rogers of Frampton Cotterell. I know next to nothing about AEC Matadors, but they often seem to come with these pleasingly spartan, rather shed-like bodies, which would presumably be ex-military.
Often, we wonder how to summarise an outing, a trip... the above one, talks of our trip :-D
Sunday morning, five us went for a drive & breakfast to Lavasa (planned city in the outskirts of Pune).
this was at 6.00 am - no one on the road, low light, Sunrays greeting us from the east, extremely calm & quiet... !! it was brilliant.
