Two years ago we were in Lyon and had a full day to walk everywhere we wanted to. We enjoyed very much that day. I think we walked about 20km and the next day we were on our way to Le Puy-en-Velay and from there we were going to start a long journey on foot ( 39 days) on the Camino de Santiago , on the chemin called La Voie du Puy or Via Podiensis. i have written a fair amount on my blog in French ( La Marche, on WordPress) and also on my English blog FUNandLIFE.2 you can find the link easily on my profile page. If you take time to read , let me know. Happy Smile on Saturday.

Happy Smile on Saturday.
Now, this is not a perfect picture of the moon. I really wish I had had my tripod with me, but I didn't, and had to settle with the roof of the car, so I was unfortunately a bit off with the focus, I'm afraid. However, the colour of the moon made me hit the brakes and throw myself out of the car, because I think it was spectacular. Hope you like this moonrise anyway, just as much as I did :)
好難的主題!!要兼具單色、動物、植物、微距/特寫的作品,派中正紀念堂的鴿子應戰去!!
This is such a challenge for me to include all the themes in a picture for today's Crazy Tuesday Theme: Full House macro or close-up/ monochrome/ fauna/ flora/ I add landscape as well!!!
Happy Crazy Tuesday! ;-)
Happy Cliche Saturday

The KCS "Steel Turn" uses one throttle position once leaving Dynamic Steel at Bent Oak, MS right up until the yard limits at Artesia. I bet you can figure it out.
Its years of full service long gone, the dilapidated little station sits on the main street of Walnut Grove, Missouri. Weather and neglect have taken a toll over the years. Summer is just around the corner, so it seems likely that the worst is over…for now.
This image is an addition of three shots. Each one was made high contrast and threshold in PS to extract just birds against white. While heavily processed, it is not un-representative of being there in person considering it is before sunrise, a few days past the full moon, and quite cloudy.
As the groups of Sandhill cranes become aloft, the sky is filled with ribbon after ribbon of cranes going different directions at different altitudes. The vocalizations are quite distinctive, carry a long distance, and very memorable. Cornell Labs says this about their calls: "The Sandhill Crane’s call is a loud, rolling, trumpeting sound whose unique tone is a product of anatomy: Sandhill Cranes have long tracheas (windpipes) that coil into the sternum and help the sound develop a lower pitch and harmonics that add richness."

Beautiful full Wolf Moon. The thin clouds of water droplets/ice crystals created such beautiful colors.
