Jetzt weis ich der Sonnenaufgang war besser 😄📷👍
The nature sanctuary "Ascholdinger Au" is the southern continuation of the "Pupplinger Au", an alluvial forest along the river Isar (south of Munich). HDR made of three pics.

See also my set about the river Isar.
The Isar is a river in Tirol, Austria and Bavaria, Germany. Its source is in the Karwendel range of the Alps in Tirol; it enters Germany near Mittenwald, and flows through Bad Tölz, Munich, and Landshut before reaching the Danube near Deggendorf. At 295 km in length, it is the fourth largest river in Bavaria, after the Danube, Inn, and Main. It is Germany's third most important tributary of the Danube.
Had a great mid-week meet up and worked on a full on collab shot with Phill on the camera and the crouching monkey, blue gelled backlight scanner. Kim delivering the long light purples emanating from the fingers and dusting some frontlight scanning on the amazing Joy freshly graduated from the school of standings still. Whilst I waved my hands in the background and generally tried to keep out of the way. An epic night out.
I was taking a nap and turned over to see Chauncey watching out the window at the neighbors Dachshund. So of course to grab my camera and then wait until she got focused on him again.

Stockholms Stadion in Östermalm
Im Hauptstadion der Olympischen Winterspiele 1912, ein wunderbarer Backsteinbau, ist im Winter eine Langlaufloipe eingerichtet, die man nach Lust und Laune kostenlos nutzen kann. Das Tor steht offen!
Setup on black floor tile. The Turkish Delight is real, the green is a reflection in the tile of the wall behind the setup (out of shot).
Three hotshoe flashes fired by radio triggers.
Lighting stuff:
Gridded Vivitar 283 frontlighting the Turkish delight from camera-left, another gridded Vivitar 283 backlighting it from camera-right.
Third Vivitar 283 coloured green and lighting the wall behind the setup (out of shot) - it is the reflection of the wall in the black floor tile that makes it look green.

I have now added a setup diagram for this photo here. If the link doesn't work for you, it's the next pic in my photostream. :-)
This is a beautiful picnic and barbeque area, just outside Banff town.
The ideal time to come here to take some photos is late evening, which wasn't possible for me, but i was lucky to have some nice clouds and some nice frontlight.
This is not a hdr.
Haven't posted an actual red sunset shot before, I don't think. Here is one from about a month ago. The famous but seldom seen "green flash" or "emerald flash" was actually seen during this sunset but the sensor failed to catch it. Well, at least I think I saw something green that lasted about a blink of an eye. One of these days I will catch it.
