For Macro Mondays Group - Hook
----------------------------------------------------
This hook with the Claddagh ring above was my Mothers, who was of Irish decent. It hung in her home and was used to hold her house key until she passed on, then I inherited it. Now it hangs by my door and I carry on her tradition.
The Claddagh ring (Irish: fáinne Chladaigh) is a traditional Irish ring which represents love, loyalty, and friendship (the hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty).
Size: 2.50" wide by 1.50" deep.
HMM, everyone ! !
This is my n.100 photo post in Flickr.
My photo is a dedication for the friendship i've found here. Thank you for all the visits, constructive comments, faves, hellos.
"Not sure what kinda relationship we have,
but she is my hunny bee.
Love her more then just friend, maybe like a sister or maybe more.
BUT take note, WE NOT A LOVER, AND WE BOTH STRAIGHT".
"Love ya hun and thanks for everything you did for me"
Unusual friendship
I saw these two standing together while I was driving down Kendall road.
So I stopped to take a photo of them. Both of them came real close to the fence. I was able to pet the horse for a while. The bull remained right next to the horse he was checking me out he seemed to be very timid.
Short while later both of them walked off together
The G318, aka 'The Friendship Highway' is a modern asphalt road extending from Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, to the Nepalese border north of Kathmandu. Many sections like this one, on the stretch from Lhasa to Gyantse, were cut into steep mountainsides creating interesting landscape scars.
Look closely and you can see a car descending this 2-lane road.
Check out my Tibet album or my Photostream for other images of Tibet, and my photo 'Touring Tibet - A Tutorial' for a brief overview of what it's like to be a tourist photographer in rural Tibet.
As I traveled through a series of small Portuguese towns, some seemingly quite poor, I invariably came upon a scene such as this - a group of old men (or women) sitting quietly in the morning sun. They never seemed to be talking that much. Given their histories, closely shared since childhood, it's unlikely that much talk was required.
Scenes from the 2022 Des Moines Turkey Trot were there close to 5000 participants. Great fun with fantastic weather.

My fox was only a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But I have made her my friend. Our love, sharing and connection is unique. For me, she is unique in all the world.

“We never lose friends, we simply learn who the real ones are.”
To Friendship and to my friend Antoine! who made me discover Barcelona, which is definitely a great place to explore!
That friend that helps you grow strong and strange. I have one...her name is Kitty and I am very grateful for friendship.
Eheheh this photo make me smile every time =] anyway it's always inside my "Osterie/Frasche Friulane 2016 reportage". I captured this image in an osteria near Gorizia and they were two old friends from the Italian Alpine (Troopers), some very friendly guys and almost all with mustaches and heavy wine drinkers but they are also fantastic workers during the wars/conflicts.

The friendship bell, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, was presented as a gift from the people of the Republic of Korea to the people of the United States of America on the occasion of the American Bicentennial Jubilee to further the friendship and trust between the two nations.
Cast with an alloy of tin, copper, gold, silver, and phosphorus, the bell reflects the distinct characteristics and beauty of traditional Korean bells.
The knob o the bell comprises a dragon-shaped figure and a sound pipe. On the outer circumference of the bell are four pairs of goddesses carved in relief to symbolize the spirits of freedom, independence, peace and prosperity in each of the two countries. Ornate bands of the rose of Sharon, the national flower of Korea, decorate in relief the shoulder and rim of the bell. The bell measures 3.63 meters in height with a circumference of 7.25 meters. It weighs 17 metric tons.
The bell pavilion, constructed in traditionally Korean architectural style with a blue-tiled roof, is painted in a unique coloring pattern, which is known in Korea as "????."
It is the hope of the Korean people that the friendship bell will forever sound the continued prosperity of the United States of America and the Republic of Korea, together with the enduring friendship of the two nations, which is sealed by a mutual faith in freedom and independence.
