Happy Furry Friday everyone!
Looks like a hot and humid weekend coming up to start off the summer.
Our free outdoor concert series is kicking off on Saturday night with Kalan Porter (2004 Canadian Idol), his first concert since February. I hear people are coming from as far as Thunder Bay, so we will be going early to claim a good spot to sit!!!

We have had 2 full weeks of 90-100 degree heat & "Do not breath outside" weather. I attempted to water a few of my pretties & wanted to get a few of my flower shots before they all die of heat exhaustion before I do!

...and one day bosslady will surely learn to handle the photoshop accordingly to wipe away such an ugly leash..

the weird thing about living with your partner is the absence of the frantic friday night dress ups before "La BIG date".
Alex & I have lived together now for 3yrs, not a milestone i know, but needless to say, in the sum of time we've been together, seeing me looking like this might actually be an unexpected surprise for him! :o) what? i did put some effort into this... i call it the "The Joker/Amy Winehouse offspring" look...
i guess this is a homage to all the effort in looking good for dates and fridays, when happy hour starts at 1pm in the afternoon (technically should not be classified as an "hour") and toll booths go crazy at 3am saturday mornings...
