Stopped and talked to Charlie at the Santa Monica Farmer's Market this last Sunday. He was selling some of his fresh catch of crabs - there were a few varieties and even one knew how to write :)

In fact, it's the only fresh tuna auction of its kind in the United States. Fishing boats tie up and unload their catch just a few feet from this modern, state-of-the-art facility.
