Watching the news at 5 pm the weatherman said the skies would clear up soon. A few minutes later he said a small storm had developed on the east side of Rockford but there was nothing to worry about. Then a couple minutes later there was reports of some hail coming down. Two minutes after the news cast ended the tornado sirens in my neighborhood went off. We got some hail and hard rain followed by these rotating clouds that were trying hard to organize into a funnel. I watched this rotation action from the front porch for a good 10 minutes or so while it moved off to the east. Later on the news at 6 pm there was some reports of funnel clouds sighted. The weather had changed from good to serious in just about 15 - 20 minutes time. How quickly things can change !
Fresh snapper just caught, and the best part I like its caught legaly n free. Coffee and fresh fillets in the pan , oh my can you taste and smell it?
The flavour of fresh grapes eaten out of hand is difficult to beat. But, if snacking is not enough, table white grapes easily combine with other fruits: try grapes in fruit cups, fruit salads, and fruit compotes. Also a great with cheese.

"Fresh Start"... to others this probably looks like an adorable boy playing on his new ipad. To me... it's a Fresh Start. I didn't take many photos of my own kids last year because I was going through a lot of bad stuff in my life and was in "survival" mode... but this year... 2013... I am going to make up for that. I want to capture them as they are-- not dressed up perfectly or in the most beautiful light... just them. As I see them and love them and don't want to forget them at this age. Childhood goes by so quickly-- and especially when you have twins. You don't get to relive the firsts and the lasts with another child. It all comes at once. So... Fresh to me means Fresh Start.
On Wednesdays they turn the entire City Hall area into a huge farmers market with all kinds of goodies. The fresh vegetables are so hard to resist; we just sample them all.
5th day of summer. It's hot here and I decided to take some yummy fresh fruit and make some homemade popsicles.
I remember when I was little my mom had the tupperware set to make popsicles and she would let me make all kinds, so much healthier than the ones from the store, no sugar!
