Macro Mondays 'in ice' theme.
It was tricky this week, I couldn't get any distilled water so had to make do with boiled water - I thought it would be better than tap water but it still went cloudy when it froze. Most of my objects were totally obscured by the ice but luckily the watch had a little less ice over the face and leaving it for a few minutes for the ice to begin to melt a little allowed enough to the face to show through. Of course then it started to slide around as I tried to take the shots! 😊

Definitely Dreaming 6/52 'waiting' theme. (I waited for the ice to freeze, then waited for it to melt a little so the watch face was more visible.)

I couldn't resist this, the flood is going across the road and the cars that splash though it, in these freezing conditions, are creating this :) the other side is a frozen dry stone wall :))

this was taken this morning in the train near Tilburg in Holland! The red color came from just a bit of sun shine through the mist!
"It's too cold to take a picture today" I said
"I'm not taking off my mitts and freezing my hands" I said
"Oh look at the beautiful frost and snow on the trees" she declared.
"Just wait a minute while I take off my mitts and get the shot!" I rejoined
wenige sekunden später wird die kugel matt und die kristalle wachsen. in den anfangssekunden ist die spiegelung des sees schön zu sehen :)
While biking from work to home, I saw this beautiful fog. Further on I came in this fog and the temperature dropped from 12 to 4 degrees. I wasn't prepared for that with my shorts and no gloves. Still more than half an hour in that cold until home. brrrrr
Running an hour late, Tyseley's 'Castle No. 7029 'Clun Castle' makes a storming run through Tyseley on 15th December 2022, while heading the return Vintage Trains 'Polar Express', 1Z30 1505 Dorridge - Birmingham Moor Street.
