A monochromatic design by Marie W. (on-line freebie from 2009) that I chose to stitch with variegated silk floss instead in greens/blues/purple. The vertical stripey look isn't something I do often, but I like it for this one so far :) As of 3/15/2013
Yay for freebies. In the past week, I received two completely free goodies. First, a science fiction novel that I got through LibraryThing's Early Reviewers program for free. Then I got a mysterious large package, that turned out to have to be a Nordic Ware Castle Bundt Pan -- I had entered a drawing for a free one weeks ago on a lark, and never heard anything, so I figured it was a bust. Instead, a $35-40 bundt pan shows up on my doorstep!
