Updated 24 Jan 2008: The gallery accepted my pieces!!
Today I framed and presented three of my drive-bys to a local (Provo, UT) gallery for a juried exhibition. The prints are 16x20, the frames are suck-ass Ikea Ribba frames, which I will never, ever, never, ever buy again.

"A "framed" picture I took of my nephew enjoying some boogie boarding on the beach" - Katya Small, 2012 myPQB Story Contest
An illustration for a blog post about half-frame film, from a while back:
women-and-dreams.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/olympus-pen-pony-...
It's basically the same as four-perf motion picture film, which is where 35mm camera film came from in the first place. Of all the small formats that came and went, half-frame is probably the easiest to process and scan nowadays - the frame gaps are in the same place as standard 35mm so photo labs just cut the negative as they would normally.
The images were all taken at the London Transport Museum. With Kodak TMAX 400, and obviously my metering (I shot with a manual-everything Olympus Pen) was decent.
Printed on Epson Premium Luster paper
Board - Foam board with aluminum foil coat
Frame - 30mm Float-mount, white
Float mount - laconic, easy and modern. This type of finishing gives the feeling image is floating within the frame. Depending from frame width and size of the print, distance between frame and image can be adjusted (wider/narrower)
This particular foam board is a combination of synthetic materials therefore it is very smooth and even. And the foil coat won't allow deformations of board if the humidity of environment changes.

the framing here seems a little off to me but I'm not sure how I should fix it. Also, is the black and white too dark?

+ Kodak PORTRA400 (大沢カメラさんプリント)
Ever had an idea stuck in your head and kept bugging you until it was done? Yeah, this was my little mental bug. I had a framing tool laying around so why not use it for a bit of fun.
Doesn't look hand drawn?

The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland's four ancient universities. It was founded in 1451. Along with the University of Edinburgh, the University was part of the Scottish Enlightenment during the 18th century. It is currently a member of Universitas 21, the international network of research universities and the Russell Group.
In common with universities of the pre-modern era, Glasgow originally educated students primarily from wealthy backgrounds, however it became a pioneer[citation needed] in British higher education in the 19th century by also providing for the needs of students from the growing urban and commercial middle class. Glasgow University served all of these students by preparing them for professions: the law, medicine, civil service, teaching, and the church. It also trained smaller but growing numbers for careers in science and engineering.
Originally located in the city's High Street, since 1870 the main University campus has been located at Gilmorehill in the West End of the city. Additionally, a number of university buildings are located elsewhere, such as the Veterinary School in Bearsden, and the Crichton Campus in Dumfries.
Alumni or former staff of the University include philosopher Francis Hutcheson, engineer James Watt, philosopher and economist Adam Smith, physicist Lord Kelvin, surgeon Joseph Lister, 1st Baron Lister, seven Nobel laureates, and two British Prime Ministers.

Tired of those pesky heat sinking missiles getting a target lock on you? Worry no more! The Helmet Head Counter Measure Frame is here to help. Once those missiles are launched, the Helmet Head zips into the line of fire! The large vents on it's hull create a much larger heat signature than your standard frame and the missiles lock onto the Helmet Head instead. But it doesn't just take the beating. This speedy little frame will then speed off again taking those missiles with it. Heading straight for the frame that shot the missiles in the first place, the Helmet Head will slip right past and at the last minute shoot a burst of coolant hiding itself from the missiles who now lock on the nearest heat signature, the frame that shot those missiles in the first place.
Make those TTA Marines think twice before they take another shot!
