A NOS Wilbury frame from Larry Black's treasure trove that I've been eyeing for almost 4 years -- finally pulled the trigger when I decided to go down to College Park Bikes to hear/ride with Grant Petersen, and figured Larry could deliver it in person and save me the shipping.

A vertical monochrome study of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. The dark framing of the window emphasizes the city's dense architectural layers—from the rhythmic balconies of the foreground apartments to the soaring spire of Merdeka 118—all set against a dramatic backdrop of tropical clouds.
Taken for the group "Active Assignment Weekly ~ It's a Frame, Naturally ~Jan 16-23, 2012"
A photographic frame is an object that that acts as a border or frame for your subject. The frame directs the viewer’s attention to a particular subject or point of interest within the photograph. Frames also create perspective and show depth.
This week, create images that contain a natural frame that highlights the subject of the photograph.
Restrictions: The frame must be part of the photograph, not a photoshopped border around a photo.
Dare: Compose your image in camera, and don't crop it in post.
This photo was taken with my 50mm lens and is uncropped and sooc.
I'm selling off the last frame I made for myself while I was at Bilenky Cycle Works. It was intended as a rough road/randonee type bike. I never actually rode this frame, I had it built up and it sat around in my shed for a year or so, hence the paint is in VGC, but with a few minor nicks.
Constructed in the bi-laminate style and made with predominantly True Temper S3 tubing, this is probably the lightest frame that I worked on while at BCW weighing in at 1500g (it was only 1300g before paint...). Sizing: 530mm ST c-c, 550mm TT c-c. Fits 700x28c tires with fenders, long reach sidepull brakes, and a 1 1/8" headset. 130mm spaced rear end.
Comes with what you see in the photos. Frame and fork, Chris King headset and Shimano long reach sidepulls. Price: $2200 OBO.
I could also provide this as a whole bike, price depending on what kind of parts you would like.
Using magazine scraps and a heart shaped punch, I made this framed piece of art for my sweetheart on Valentines Day.
I made this a while ago, in a longer format. I had to think of it when I saw the scramble recently held by LaVon.
It's a simple design with lots of white space :) All Hero Arts with the exception of the French sentiment.
My friend Judi sent this puzzle to me to put together when I couldn't sleep. I tried some Puzzle Glue stuff on it too, to help keep it together so I could frame it. It took a while but it did dry to a very nice clear shine!
Fair warning: It doesn't dry very well when it's humid out.
I have a blue mat board for it, but it doesn't fit in the frame and I don't think I can actually close the frame up if I cut it down to size anyway. So I'll use it in another frame and print setup later on.
Fooling around in Photoshop...made this frame using layers of colour and brushstrokes and filters...
91/365 1st April 10. For this month, my theme is going to be colour and in particular colour in everyday objects. This is a first one and is the corner of a picture frame, I liked the different bands of colour in the picture, border, frame and then the wall.
...well almost! I've been meaning to try out this sort of framing for some time - took a bit of trial and error but I got there in the end!
