Gull Fly-In
The Gull Fly-In, ... takes place every night at Daytona Beach Shores, FL.
It's thought to be perhaps the largest congregation of gulls on any beach in the United States. As many as 30,000 gulls use the beach as a resting area a few hours before sunset. They congregate side-by-side as people walk within feet of them - no scopes, no binoculars, and best of all, no flushing! The birds just stand there and allow close study until they all harmoniously rise and settle on the ocean just past the breakers to spend the night.
See the scope of the scene in the comments below.
Concentration to the max. ... He seems to be in another world ...
Wonder what's on his mind? ... Anyway, enjoy your treats.

Hawthorns above Otterspool Promenade and the River Mersey. I am amazed that I was so preoccupied by framing the rapidly moving ship that I failed to spot the lost coat displayed on the tree.
This image accidentally appeared as I took a picture of a moving subway train in Toronto. The two historical images from Toronto's past are framed by the windows which reveal the artwork on the opposite platform.
The beauty of St. Albans Church in Copenhagen, framed by leaves and branches of a nearby park. “St. Alban's Church, locally often referred to simply as the English Church, is an Anglican church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built from 1885 to 1887 for the growing English congregation in the city. Wikipedia”

I take pictures because I like it, not because I am good at it.

There were so many Robins around today and lots of interactions and posing. There all nicely framed themselves in the vegetation.
I made my way from Steelhead Falls to Cliff Falls and I wanted to get a head on shot of the river with the potholes that I had seen. To my dismay I found the shot I saw was obviously taken by drone. I have a drone but this is a Provincial Park and drones are prohibited. Not sure how that works. Anyway DJI get in touch :)

Recently I decided to take my first digital camera out to take a few pictures, it's a 2 megapixel Kodak DX3600. I got it free in 2001 with points from a local grocery store. It has a 2X optical zoom lens equivalent to 35mm to 70mm in full frame and the ISO sensitivity is only 100 and 200, not huge by any means but sufficient for what it is. It has an optical view finder rather then a EVF but the 1.8 inch LCD screen is typical of the time, hard to see and only takes jpeg's. I cropped the picture a little just to square it up a bit as the image can't afford to loose many pixels otherwise it's as shot.
