A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose....

 

and one of them has an aphid crawling on it!

 

For those of you rose enthusiasts, I understand putting garlic bulbs in the soil under rose bushes repels aphids. Don't know if that alters the roses' fragrance, however. Anyone know?

Fragrance Lake was a bit foggy today. I like the reflection of this log over the lake.

If you look close, you can see a bit of ghosting from the bartender here in Fragrances (the bar inside the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin). When I was shooting, people were asking if they could get out of my way. I usually tell them no, because I like a bit of ghosting and some mystery in there. It's also funny when I walk into a place with a tripod that they think there is something QUITE SERIOUS going on. It's actually just the opposite… complete silliness and fun!

These were delivered today to a job where I was working. This beautiful floral arrangement is a gift from a loving husband to his expecting wife. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness.

I was today’s years old when I learned that the scent of daffodils varies by variety from sweet to spicy and is described as an irresistible fragrance.

This boy was working at Mysore market. He sells different perfumes for Incense stick. We can see the different kind of fragrances in the bottles behind him. Mysore is one of the world capital for Incense and silk.

i told my mom that i bought a hand cream from a brand called l'occitane, and loved it. several days later, she gave me the fragrance in the same line. i feel like i'm being spoiled :-)
