A portrait partially revealed through layers of color and form.
What we see is never the whole story—only fragments shaped by perspective, light, and obstruction.
Photo taken at Sony Alpha workshop.
Apps used: Hipstamatic, Snapseed, iColorama, Rollworld, Delta, Stackables, Superimpose, Big Photo
Backstory: This piece is one of a dozen in my Fragments series, some of which are still in development. The series is premised on the notion that we are all made whole by God, but that we only ever live our lives in fragments, inches to time lived, then remembered, then remade. Each of the pieces in this series are made of fragments from other images, like the impressions, and knowledge, and friendships, and experiences that comprise our individual lives.
Each has a background built for it, then a square image collection of fragments superimposed over it.

My photos are not complete with just one photo. What matters is the relationship with other photographs. Therefore, I recommend you to view the following series. Please feel the city of Osaka through my photos,”OSAKA STREET FRAGMENTS” www.flickr.com/photos/153962322@N05/albums/72157719832072690

Henry Moore's bronze "Three Piece Reclining Figure: Draped" (1975). Fuji X-E2. Multiple parts, fragmented life, and the re-membering is the unfinished job.
This photo 'fragment' of a Henry Moore sculpture -- ''Reclining Connected Forms'' -- is located in the courtyard between the Aria and Crystals shopping center. I spent quite a lot of time admiring it and took several photographs of details of the sculpture but ironically did not take a photo of the entire piece. There are many more photos of sculptures from around the world that I have taken over the years that can be viewed in the first comment box below.
Found a complete image of the sculpture here ... flic.kr/p/dtM73R
