My new analogue project "FRAGILE".
Photos taken in all belgium woods during winter 2011-2012.
Didn't find my place anymore in the city, so i went in the woods to find something i lost in the urban society where a lot of us interact.

Opuntia fragilis (Nutt.) Haw. An unusual remaining remnant deep into the Salt Lake valley. The dense Fragile cactus population here with larger and flatter than normal pads might be a hybrid swarm, but plants while introgressed would still be closest to O. fragilis for classification purposes.

Thomas on Fragile steps v13. The problem is a lowball line and pretty unimpressive at first sight - Thomas casually challenged me to get a cool pic of it after seeing some other photos of the big classic lines - heres my best offering...

Opuntia fragilis in flower earlier than normal by several weeks. With primarily Heterotheca villosa.

Was about to begin work on the miniatures and paint them... but unfortunately, I broke the RG version of Amuro's legs.
The thing is way too tiny and fragile... T_T
I am picking out a few of my favorites I've posted in the past and slightly tweaking them...a little contrast here, a bit of light added there and voila! a whole new way of seeing an old photograph.
I'm finally teaching myself how to very basic photo editing and I plan on purchasing a photoshop program in the near future...
...also dreaming of a new digital slr...
Usando como excusa la futura venida de Yes, para el 25 de Noviembre, muestro uno de mis tesoros personales: La edición de "Fragile" del 2003. Pedazo de disco, uno de los responsables de cambiar mi manera de sentir la música, y que me llevó en su momento de querer ser como Rick Wakeman (con su obvio epic fail :D). Una joya.

Bruce has a new pug sister! Her name is Asia, she is 6 years old. She is a tiny little thing!
Someone's grandparents that we know could no longer care for her, so we brought her home today. She was just spayed 2 weeks ago but was previously a puppymill dog. The owners we got her from have had her three years. She has gigantic nipples and it super skinny. She had a serious problem with fleas before she got spayed and now has a lot of scars from chewing. Other than being stinky and skinny, she seems to be in good shape.
What is really suprising is that everyone is getting along so well. I was prepared for Katie and Hope not to be so welcoming but they haven't really paid much attention to her.
It's really sad when someone has to give up their pet. Asia just seems so lost and confused, as you can tell by this picture. I only hope that she enjoys her new siblings and loves it here on my farm. She will get lots of love, that is for sure!
More pics to come. I just want her to get settled in a bit first.
