Photo taken for the Smile on Saturday group's theme "fork(s) reflected in spoon(s)". Looks like an alien bird to me.
Taken for the Macro Mondays group, on the subject of 'Tools and Utensils', this is a pair of dinner forks, given a low-key, mono treatment, to try to emphasise the shape and textures.
I've seen images like this on Flickr and thought I'd give it a go.... Just for fun!

Well I'm getting close now to end my Clark Fork River series of shots...it'll be nice to get out and do some new shooting with the ol Nikon!!! The roof is done and now next week is when all the family is gonna be here for my son's wedding. They're having it at a lodge outside of Missoula and it should be fun! I sure wish I would have started looking for a dress earlier because I'm not finding one and it's too late to order online!!! Yikes...you know what I'll be doing besides working next week! lol :)

Some of the last photos, made with my Canon Powershot A80 camera, that I sold to my coworker. He is going to Nepal and need good solid backup camera. As it turned out, he will use it as the first camera! :)) Hurray, my old little good Canon is going on another side of the world.
HDR made from 2 hand held photos, tonemapped in Photomatix Pro 3.2.9 (detail enhancer) and in Photoshop (only) curves adjustment layers were added, together with cropping and adding sign.

This is still one of my favorite people-photos. I don't know why, but it just makes me smile. I guess it's funny because she's a cute gal wearing a mask, holding two mobile phones, wearing a camera, and there is no place else for the fork to go but in her mouth.

Nature itself is a lesson. When someone came up with the decision tree, he must have been looking at some image like this.
sparked off by a discussion on the uses of wearing a webcam (and catcam) and the mention of "ambiguous forks in the trail" to avoid getting lost i suppose, but i was confused for half a second and thought it looked something like this.
I liked this picture since when you look at the cutlery, it looks shiny. Looking closer reveals it's flaws.
