Hey, Dad, throwing a game of pitch because you've been forced to play to the point of exhaustion won't get you kicked out of the family, will it? ...Dad, will it? Dad?
Blessed is your face
Blessed is your name
My beloved
Blessed is your smile
Which makes my soul want to fly
My beloved
All the nights
And all the times
That you cared for me
But I never realised it
And now itās too late
Forgive me
Now Iām alone filled with so much shame
For all the years I caused you pain
If only I could sleep in your arms again
Mother Iām lost without you
You were the sun that brightened my day
Now whoās going to wipe my tears away
If only I knew what I know today
Mother Iām lost without you
Ummahu, ummahu, ya ummi
wa shawqahu ila luqyaki ya ummi
Ummuka, ummuka, ummuka ummuka
Qawlu rasulika
Fi qalbi, fi hulumi
Anti maāi ya ummi
Mother... Mother... O my mother
How I long to see O mother
āYour mother, Your mother, Your motherā
Is the saying of your Prophet
In my heart, in my dreams
You are always with me mothe

Please forgive me for uploading this many photos, I just found them on my old account and had to move them over.. I got overly excited a lot of times when I lived in Arcadia Florida, seeing a freight train twice a week was something fun for me since I lived so far from anything...
My past struggles have shaped who I am today. My tattoo I just recently got this past summer symbolizes the struggles in my life I need to learn to cope with and forgive. I can't dwell on the past forever and let it tare me down in the present and/or future.

i am not generally a religious man, but this 'monument' is moving. Its simplicity and scale gives a message loud and clear - stop and think.
