another archive pic for my brother.. this time I did do some color editing and hit it with a topaz filter. in CS3..he'll never know, unless you say something

months and months and months of delays waiting for parts, finally at the rebuild stage
new motor and trans upgrades installed
rebuilt most the suspension , most of the wiring
won't be long before we test and tune, then into the spray booth to freshen up paint
when I get behind the wheel of my toy, I'm a different person... it's only when I get back to this side of the lens that I return to "normal"...

you know it's a pretty bad addiction when you stop and take a picture of your car while at the ATM....from my Mustang archives, on a storage drive that we had all thought was dead , but hooked up to a new computer is back to life... @ 3000 shots recovered!!!

took a long tour of the backroads this morning...enjoying a terrific Fall day. Have to soak up every opportunity to get out and get my speed fix satisfied , cause the dreaded word "Winter" will soon be spoken around here...

Mustangs will always be my favorite when it comes to classic cars and the more unique they are, the more I tend to like photographing them...this '66 Mustang 2+2 Fastback definitely falls into that unique category and the silver paint with metal flake adds even more uniqueness! This was one of the best at this years 4th of July Car Show at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

sometimes Mr. Mean has a chip on his shoulder...in this case it was due to losing 2 of 3 in a stop light battle to a 2015 Challenger R/T the previous day (groan, turnkey 500 hp modern muscle) ...he was not a happy camper
I think it maybe time to get the 75hp shot nitrous kit out of the basement and bolt it back on..

people often ask me for a ride in Mr. Mean... then they want to qualify the experience with "Don't go too fast", "Don't scare me", " Don't show off" , etc...etc...etc...
so I have this hanging off the rear view mirror..I point to it and tell them to buckle up.
