Excessive speeding eh?

When i was going back to Riga from Jūrmala, got catched myself speeding at 129Kmh (allowed 90 kmh, actually i was going 160kmh). Still now i can't figure out why, but the policeman let me go with a WARNING - i think that firstly he could not prove the fact, and secondly he just wanted to get a bribe (dunno - some 50 or so euros). Anyway - got pretty lucky - nowadays you can loose your drivers license here for such speeding.

The Renault 20 (R20) and Renault 30 (R30) are two executive cars produced by the French automaker Renault between 1975 and 1984. The most upmarket and expensive Renaults of their time, the two cars were almost identical with regard to sheet metal and mechanicals; the R30 was the larger-engined and more expensive of the two. The two cars were easily distinguished between each other from their differing headlight configuration – the Renault 20 had two single rectangular headlights whereas the Renault 30 had quadruple round headlights. The interior specifications differed substantially however with the Renault 30 having a higher specification in all models. Over 622,000 R20s and 145,000 R30s were produced in Sandouville near Le Havre, France.

The 20 variant won 1978 What Car? "Car of the Year".

Only black one in 1999

This highly interesting combo was seen and fotographed by my son yesterday at the parking of a local home improvement store. The combination of a black sports car with a hearse attached is intriguing.

We could not make out wether the grim reaper was out shopping the new scythe spring collection...

Situated on the corner of Hotspur Street and Hotspur Place, Alnwick, THE TANNERS ARMS was pictured on October 13th 2011. Ordinarily I prefer not to have cars in these pictures but the Ford Probe P75PJA is somewhat of a rarity.

I drove a friend to a Midlands Auction House to collect his winning bid. While there, I was able to inspect some of the cars that hadn't been collected by their new owners. This car is a timewarp, and has only done 1000 miles from new.

This morning we grounded Liz’s red Ford Probe. She had only had it a very short time, but it suited her. We took some pictures of it outside of Ford World Headquarters. We then checked out of the Residence Inn and headed to Garrison Place in West Outer Drive for the farewell do at the office with the gang. Said our final goodbyes and drove the five hours to Chicago that afternoon. We stayed downtown and spent most of the weekend on our feet. Very cold and windy, a big city. We went up Sears Tower, the tallest building in the world. We also did some window shopping in the famous stores, Bloomingdales, and Marshall Fields.

Kelly and Lynn and her fiancé, Kelly will be there also so we will meet up with them for a final goodbye with Marianne who lives there now.

Brainerd Intl Raceway, MAP compact weekend.

This guy cut me off in a truly obnoxious fashion almost rear ending the green car beside him. He was kind enough to use his signal light, which remained on for a few blocks afterward. At least he wasn't on his phone.

I do feel bad for him. He is driving a car that is named after, and resembles, a colonoscopy instrument.

At one time the Probe was thought to replace the Mustang...Mustang fans objected =)
