I'm a pretty little thing,
Always coming with the spring;
In the meadows green I'm found,
Peeping just above the ground,
And my stalk is cover'd flat
With a white and yellow hat.
Little Mary, when you pass
Lightly o'er the tender grass,
Skip about, but do not tread
On my bright but lowly head,
For I always seem to say,
"Surely winter's gone away."

Like the lonely winter tree
Outstretched branches with never any leaves
Lonely skeletons, with lonely smiles
Looking away while trying to hide
Their outstretched lonely eyes

This neglected beauty sits on a beautiful corner in Nowhere, Martin County, Indiana. It lives here alone though, no people around to care for it anymore. Best viewed LARGE.
It's been a long day without you my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again

My heart lives here. If I could put all my hopes and dreams, sadness and feelings into this box, it would be full for the next hundred years. If I could put my entire body in here, I'd hold on so tight my fingers would break before I'd come out....
it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razer
that leaves your soul to blead
Some say love it is a hunger
an endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
and you it's only seed
It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of wakingthat never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dyingthat never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winterfar beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed
that with the sun's love
in the spring
becomes the rose.

looking at life through my tears. I know this is not an attractive shot, but my life is not appealing right now either. The water you see standing are the tears I've already cried.
This eagle perched upon a flagpole looks as though he's ready to take off into the night. I wonder where he would go? I wonder where I would go?

Morning light - tight
I don't have a zoom lense so none are really what I wanted them to be but I tried several different shots in different light. Do you have a preference?
Of course since I've been waiting all week for the full moon, it was cloudy last night. I did manage to get a few shots off between clouds. I was using my van door for a tripod, as I've lost a very important little piece off my tripod.
This moon looked so lonesome playing hide and seek with the clouds.
A rose can say I love you and want you to be mine,
A rose can say I thank you for being so very kind,
A rose can say congratulations, whatever the occasion may be,
A rose can say I miss you and wish you were here with me,
A rose can say I'm sorry if I've hurt you in any way,
A rose can say get well soon, May God bless you today,
A rose can say I wish you happiness, and the best for you each day.
A rose can say farewell when someone goes away,
A rose can say hello, I'm thinking of you today,
There's just so many wonderful things that a rose can say,
A rose can say goodbye when a love one is laid to rest,
No matter what there is to say, a rose can say it best.
