The lighting brings back memories.
The thunder shows my anger.
As the rain washes it away.
The birds fly by, I see my dreams.
As they go home. they're stolen from me.
As the rain washes it away.
The pedal filled with rain drops, I know I'm hurt.
As the rain drops roll off, they're like my tears.
As the rain washes it away.
The clouds are like my soul.
They hide the sun, like I hide my feelings.
As the rain washes it away.
As I sit on my porch,
Watching the rain wash things away.
I see that the storms a lot like me.

This lonely rocking chair was sitting by the trash can awaiting it's fate. I don't know why, but I felt like I had to shoot this and I really like it.
I want to lay here in the
twilight shadows
And know the pleasure of having
no thoughts run through this
Troubled head.
I want to be carried away
by the music of the radio
To a world where my problems
don't exist and I can just
Pet my cat
I want to melt into
My twilight slumber
seeking nothing
Knowing less
I say goodnight as
Twilight falls
unsuccessful upon My hand.

...for this beautiful rainbow. There was no way to capture the whole thing, it was a complete arc. Gorgeous.
i have always found the color blue so interesting. it is said it's the color of depression, but also the color of the ocean and sky which are all but depressing. blue is the color of jazz and of the blues. blue is deep, bright, and light. blue is beautiful and sad all at the same time. its the color of flowers, of rivers, and the eyes of a blameless girl glazed in sweet blue. blue is dark, blue is depressing, blue is deep, blue is bright, blue is rythym, blue is rhyme, and blue is beautiful...

It's evening here now, but it's morning somewhere and this is how my day started today. So good morning from Indiana, USA.
All hope is abandoned.
All ideas are abandoned.
Tears fall, completely abandoned.
A derelict building, completely abandoned.
Efforts of rescue, soon abandoned.
You. Just abandoned.
~Dan Brown
Hope the rays of dawn break
On the eastern windows of your home
Touching its inmates with golden light
Slight, slanting, soothing winsome
Giving each, thoughts bright, fresh, dazzling
Springing into action, lithe, lissom, nimbble
Stepping out into this world; these fledgelings
Succulent, wholesome healthy, happy, able!

The sky and I have parallel moods:
One ireful eye and my mind broods.
When tears stream down its downcast cheek,
My floral gown turns grey and bleak.
As a truant breeze chases its fleece,
Like wanton seas my mood would crease.
With golden locks warming the air,
Makes thoughts in flocks fly debonair.
The sky and I have one good trait:
The face can't lie or dissimulate.

"Out there
Theres a world outside of Yonkers
Way out there beyond this hick town
Barnaby
There's a slick town
Barnaby
Out there
Full of shine and full of sparkle
Close your eyes and see it glisten
Barnaby
Listen, Barnaby...
Put on your Sunday clothes
There's lots of world out there
Get out the brillantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the eveing air
Girls in white in a perfumed night
Where the lights are bright as the stars
Put on your Sunday clothes we're gonna ride through town
In one of those new horsedrawn open cars
We'll see the shows at Delmonicos
And we'll close the town in a whirl
And we won't come home until we've kissed a girl!!!"
song of the day: Out There, from the musical, Hello, Dolly!, composed by Jerry Herman
sung by the character, Cornelius Hackl.
Best performance ever: Paul
Sadly, that performance was not captured on video, so this one will just have to do... ;)
