As long as I can remember (this isn't going to be a Vic's story), this odd little foodstore has been on Freeport Boulevard. There's two little gas pumps just out of frame, and there's always at least one car parked out in front, even when they're closed. Maybe one of these days, I'll actually walk in.
After the Vietnam War, a number of refugees from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos were resettled in and around Wausau. It must have been a difficult transition for them.
