The old Hy-Vee food store in Liberty has been vacated for some new digs, and Feldman's Farm & Home is in the former Hy-Vee building.
In the bing.com view, the old Hy-Vee is the light roofed building, bottom right, facing north. The new Hy-Vee is located where we see only site work being done.

Wholefoods have arrived in UK - in Kensington. The merchandise is not so different from that of my local foodstore in Austin but the ambiance, clientèle and prices are far different.

The Leavenworth Schools utilize this building which, based on the side view, is clearly an old store.
At first glance, the rounded roof might lead one to think, "Safeway," but the view on Bing.com, here,
does not look like a Safeway from the air.

My eyes first saw this store in June 1987. I think it was already not a grocery store then.

Many of the foodstores in this area advertise fish sales for Fridays and Saturdays which reflects local observances to various religious and cultural traditions. I like this image in Westgate Hill, Newcastle, of the crumpled up fish sale poster in (Urdu?) script. I think that its tradition in Muslim countries to buy fish on Saturdays (the Qu'ran says that this is when fish came to the shores?) and moreover, halal food laws say that only fish with scales should be consumed? please do correct me if I'm wrong.
