Grocery Store, now CVS Drug, 5011 Main St, Kansas City MO 64112
Don't know what store this was, originally. In fact, I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember any of what it's been for the 30 years I've lived here. Don't get over there that much.
Look at the impossibly small parking lot, as shown in this Bing.com view.

Update: It was a Milgram store, for at least part of its life.
Gents — Are you willing to concede that even in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic, even without Bars, Nightclubs, and Spectacular Stage Shows, that life is still much sweeter here on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip, as opposed to being locked up back home in your own home — just like your very lovely lady?
A Staycation just wasn’t gonna cut it! 😡
So Gents — While you are doing your midnight stroll of the charming and inviting New York-New York Hotel & Casino, think long and hard about what you will say to your very lovely lady when she calls you from home and wants to know if it’s safe to leave the comfort and safety of her home and come with you to Las Vegas again. How will you convince your woman that life is still good here?
In the meantime, have you decided what kind of gifts and souvenirs you are going to get for your very lovely lady and for all your buddies back home? 🤔

Every morning in Ship Bottom one of us went to Wawa for the papers, for donuts, for juice, and for whatever else we needed to start the day. So did everybody else.
We made this when my brother and my nephew came over from New York.

This Bob Evans has been closed since the fall of 2008 for sure, if not longer.
I don't know what magic formula failed them. They seemed to be busy, and seemed to draw in families, not just the white haired crowd.
UPDATE: Spring 2012--This lovely building has been razed, and is a patch of dirt.

All shops in 2009 are as they were in 2001, except the Pharmacy has been extended and is now called "Grange Pharmacy" and, very sadly, W.G Spicer has passed away. The gun shop, "Sharp Shooters", used to sell electrical equipment when I were a lad, and the hairdressers on the second left used to have a red old-fashioned looking sign that read "MARIANNE". Next door, "Pick Your Own" used to be called "Fresh N' Luvly". Back in the 1970s, all the shops had blinds that were pulled down from below the signs to cover the windows. I remember sitting in a pram outside Grange Foodstore, back in about 1972!
