Australian Adventure -
After strolling through the City of Hobart quarter, hitting Battery Point we found the WURSTHAUS, named one of the top five foodstores in Australia.
Seems to be a Holden Caprice in front of the store ;)
Holden - Australian Carmakers ... this was another story we learned ;)
Stock Lane as it appeared in the late 1950s, with a field where Ingleton House now stands. Opposite stood Sidgewick's house and stables (now Fairfield estate). In the distance can be seen the then new bungalows in Stock lane and housing started in Pine Close and Pine Drive. The cottages on the left are still there, the car park of the Co-op Foodstore being around the corner. The field with the horses in was probably part of the paddock and stabling of The Spread Eagle Inn on the High Street. This was demolished in 1963.
This is a separate conveyor / set of rollers that was used sparingly to transport goods from the back room of A&P store 386 to the basement. Was primarily used to store seasonal goods when not in season (e.g. Christmas decor or summertime suncreen.)

Kris and I went to Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia for a work-related meeting. This is a photo taken through the window of an abandoned gas station we passed along the way.

This Provigo store in Dorval used to offer, like so many other Montreal-area stores, car order parcel pickup / commande à l'auto. The fact that they've kept a sizable number of car order bins probably means that this store uses the bins now for home delivery services.
Newspaper ad for National Food Stores featuring little girl mascot Natalie, from the Minneapolis Star, June 10, 1960. Apparently not everybody keeps house as well as National.
Back outside, it is time to move out from the Tsukiji area as I have covered the Tsukiji outer market in some detail (see previous pictures earlier in this album and also a few pictures later in this album). So as I am back at the large intersection, waiting to cross the street and head towards the Tsukijishijo metro station, I noticed this corner Lawson convenience store and coffee shop above it. I took this picture as I thought I had got a fairly good perspective of the building from the pedestrian crossing across the street. I did not see too many Lawsons convenience stores around Japan, at least not as numerous as the 7-elevens which you all in Thailand- heck, there is 7-eleven there on every street corner and even several on the same street! Strictly speaking this is Morton, not Gainsborough, but we allow Morton (and Lea) within the scope of Gainsborough pictures because both are actually joined onto the town.
This is the new Morton Co-Op, built about 10 years ago - the old Co-Op and a rather nice old cottage were demolished to make way for this architectural gem and the car park, despite some local opposition.

Ben's General Foodstore, Bangsar Village, Bangsar
This place has been boarded up for as long as I can remember, but recently the bright orange "Best Buy" sign has been removed, revealing this fantastic old VG Foodstores branding. It would have looked something like this originally: flic.kr/p/ncpetD
near the junction of Fir Lane and Oulton Road, Lowestoft. East of England Co-op ex- Anglian Convenience stores. Thanks to @Co-operative Stores for assistance (see below)..
The 50 m long section of straight belt in the basement of ex-A&P store 386, which was shuttered 10 years prior to the store's closing. The store today is Food Basics store #870.
Gentlemen -- Are you having fun and thoroughly enjoying the tenth hour of your Solo Vegas Vacation? Good! So now, what do you think of your first close look at the fabulous and expansive Eataly Italian Marketplace & Food Hall? This massive Italian food court was still under construction last Spring when you and your very lovely lady were vacationing on the Las Vegas Strip. You and your very lovely lady really enjoyed staying here in 2015 and 2016 when it was the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino, so how well do you like this place now in 2019 as the Park MGM?
