Very simple dish. Served in a plastic takeout container even if you're eating inside. The broth is hot, clear and simple. The noodles are chewy and a lot more in proportion to the beef slices. In Chinatown, NYC.

Bean curd skin wrapping minced pork and chopped water chestnuts, steamed then fried. Eaten with sweet dark soy sauce. Lunch at home in Singapore on the eve of Chinese New Year. February 2007.
