Aujourd'hui, focus sur le marché du samedi... Où un marchand et son client semblent bien concentrés !

The Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is a small bird of prey that is found in Europe, Asia, and Africa. It is also known as the European Kestrel or the Eurasian Kestrel.

IIn the shadows of the city, where desperation whispered louder than hope. Eyes were sharp and cold. Reflecting enough to keep prying eyes away.

The cold smile returning.

Not a duplicate of the previous upload! This is focus bracketed (8 shots taken with different focus, and one picked out). Previous upload was a jpg produced from a focus-stacked jpg, whereas this is a jpg produced from a single raw. My analysis here is that for the extra detail added in the stacked image, some of that is unwanted (backscatter), and that I have to post-produce a jpg rather than a raw. Other observations welcome!

A rare selfie under very dark skies and the spectacular milky way.

Played with depth of field and focus in this shot.

I feel this one as a gift. The sun came out and fell on the flower, so I could do exactly what I had planned :=)))

I took a drive last night to unwind and I ended up in a place I hadn't been to in over a year. The trees remind me of the Louisiana Bayou thick and dark and in the light I see a eagle hunting. It let me watch for a long time. I really enjoyed my time observing this eagle. The eagle saw and heard every bird and would follow the small birds when flying. I was hoping it would be able to hunt while I was watching but that didn't happen. Back waters of the Mississippi close to home in La Crosse Wi
