➤ Create your background from photographed flowers or flower parts.
➤ Your main focus should be a single organic element: botanical object or (non-human) animal.

In the wild kingdom the very lives of the inhabitants relies on their ability to focus when stalking their prey. This Green Heron is dialed in as he spots an aquatic meal near the surface of the water in a wetland pond.

L'empilement de mise au point combine plusieurs images focalisées sur un point différent pour créer une image résultante avec une profondeur de champ plus grande que n'importe laquelle des images sources individuelles !
Il s'agit d'une technique conçue pour surmonter les limites de la profondeur de champ, en d'autres termes, lorsque la configuration de l'appareil photo ne peut pas gérer ses capacités de profondeur de champ !

WHAT IS FOCUS STACKING ? ( WITH BLACK ANT ) ?
Focus stacking combines multiple images focused on a different spot to make a resulting image with a greater depth of field than any of the individual source images.
It’s a technique designed to overcome the limits of depth of field, in other words, when the camera’s setup can’t handle its depth of field capabilities.

An unusual picture on a Sunday. Now in times of Corona you have a lot of space.

With autumn almost ending and winter is coming, not much subjects that can be used to photograph in our garden.

“Focused Intensity”. It’s hard to imagine a situation more intense than a predator stalking prey. This is a shot of an Osprey I took at California’s San Elijo Lagoon. The raptor was hovering 60 feet above an inlet preparing for a strike. I loved the intense stare and the outstretched leg and talons. I used a black and white presentation so as not to distract the viewer from the nuances of the head, wing and leg positions with colors.

Pentax 67, 55mm f4, Kodak Tri-X, D-76 1:1
It is said that the Pentax 67 system can't be handheld below 1/250s because of mirror slap. They all repeat what they heard over and over again.
Total crap.
This shot was at box speed, f4, 1/15s and handheld. I shoot handheld down to 1/15s often without problems. It's all a question of technique. Of course I wouldn't be able to do that with a 200mm lens, but I can pull it off up to the 105mm lens.
The pears are all lined up for the party! Are you?
One of my entries for the photo contest i've been working on since weeks. In my language we mostly call the lightbulbs a different name : "lightpeach" Using this as a starting point i thought it would be a pretty funny idea to line them up next to each other and take a picture! :)
